As a somewhat newer western-PA resident, I was surprised to learn there were as many branch campuses as they’re were to begin with.

It makes no sense to me that college football has the 4 game rule for redshirts but CBB has none.

JoeMo made an interesting comment in this week’s presser. Joe Dunn brought up how this is the first meeting between two former Fordham QBs coaching against each other (Carney played there), and Joe said “it may be the last”. Sounds like some politicking to me.

Also - John Groce is a freaking legend. We are lucky to have him.

Is that the year we got ran off the field by Toledo in Detroit? Going to the MAC championship with some college buddies was a fun experience regardless of result. We haven’t had much to enjoy being a Zips football fan, so I’ll take what I can get. If either Wyoming or UAB can pull off an upset, they are bowling. Even if not, im not sure they’re that much worse than other middling conference teams, and I think we’re better now. If we lose to the top teams (Miami, Toledo), have a winning record against decent teams (CMU, Buffalo, Ball State), and sweep the floor with the teams we’re supposed to beat, I’d say we’re a good team that deserves to play in a bowl.

Don’t forget about the loss to YSU. (joking).

If we get to 6-6, I’m expecting some donors to start chipping in. If multiple years of improving the program can’t motivate people to support it so that we at least have the ability to retain some talent, what’s the point?
