Elmer is the best player on Miami OH and I don't think it's particularly close. Suder has the ball in his hands more, but Elmer is what makes Miami OH anywhere near respectable.
-
This might be sacrilegious to say, but I don't think Suder should even be the 2nd choice. Gillespie IMO was the 2nd best player in the MAC this season. I can see Suder at #3.
-
I will take UMass for the block.
-
Apart from the POY ( would any coach choose Suder over Tavari for their team?), good representation for Akron.
-
Suder barely led his own team in scoring. What a joke. Hopefully this adds some motivation for Tavari (not that I think he needs it)
-
Miami is 26-0 vs. Q3/Q4 and everyone is giving them unbelievable praise. Akron is 24-1 vs. Q3/Q4, with their lone loss being Q3 Murray State. Akron's 5 losses are all rated higher than any of Miami OH's opponents aside from Akron. Truly pathetic stuff from Miami OH.

Spreads for the Quarterfinals are below. Will there be any upsets? Akron (-12.5) over Buffalo Miami (-7.5) over UMass Toledo (-1.5) over BG Kent (-3.5) over Ohio

I wouldn't even say he was the biggest snub on that list. Freitag should have made 2nd Team. UB was a completely different team with him healthy.
-
-
Mahaffey Honorable Mention is a joke.
-
Just saw a mid major poll that had Miami #1 ahead of Gonzaga. 22 first place votes to 5. Talk about garbage in and garbage out.
-
Further motivation in the tournament, as if any more were needed.
-
TJ got robbed. I'm not even sure if Suder put up the best numbers on his own team, let alone the MAC. They should just change the award name to best player on the best team. That's all it ever is anymore.
-
Yea that is a joke.
-
And if they had lost one of those close games early in the season, say to us, the only national conversation around Sweater hoops would be whether they should even be on the bubble for the NCAAT if they don't get the MAC's automatic bid from the conference tournament.
-
Shammas 6th Man of the year...again.
-
Horrendous lack of knowledge from Ken lol.
