  1. Past hour
  2. I will take UMass for the block.
  3. Apart from the POY ( would any coach choose Suder over Tavari for their team?), good representation for Akron.
  4. Suder barely led his own team in scoring. What a joke. Hopefully this adds some motivation for Tavari (not that I think he needs it)
  5. Miami is 26-0 vs. Q3/Q4 and everyone is giving them unbelievable praise. Akron is 24-1 vs. Q3/Q4, with their lone loss being Q3 Murray State. Akron's 5 losses are all rated higher than any of Miami OH's opponents aside from Akron. Truly pathetic stuff from Miami OH.
  6. 2025-26 MAC Men’s Basketball All-MAC Teams & Specialty Award Winners Coach of the Year: Travis Steele, Miami* Player of the Year: Peter Suder, Senior, Guard, Miami Defensive Player of the Year: Javontae Campbell, Senior, Guard, Bowling Green Freshman of the Year: Leroy Blyden Jr., Guard, Toledo* Sixth Man of the Year: Shammah Scott, Graduate Student, Guard, Akron *unanimous selection All-MAC First Team Tavari Johnson, Senior, Guard, Akron Amani Lyles, Senior, Forward, Akron Javontae Campbell, Senior, Guard, Bowling Green Delrecco Gillespie, Senior, Forward, Kent State Peter Suder, Senior, Guard, Miami All-MAC Second Team Leonardo Bettiol, Graduate Student, Forward, Massachusetts Brant Byers, Redshirt Sophomore, Guard, Miami Eian Elmer, Junior, Guard, Miami Jackson Paveletzke, Senior, Guard, Ohio Sonny Wilson, Junior, Guard, Toledo All-MAC Third Team Shammah Scott, Graduate Student, Guard, Akron Ryan Sabol, Junior, Guard, Buffalo Marcus Banks Jr., Graduate Student, Guard, Massachusetts Luke Skaljac, Sophomore, Guard, Miami Leroy Blyden Jr., Freshman, Guard, Toledo All-MAC Honorable Mention Evan Mahaffey, Senior, Forward, Akron Daniel Freitag, Sophomore, Guard, Buffalo Morgan Safford, Graduate Student, Guard, Kent State Antwone Woolfolk, Senior, Forward, Miami Javan Simmons, Redshirt Junior, Forward, Ohio MAC All-Defensive Team Amani Lyles, Senior, Forward, Akron Evan Mahaffey, Senior, Forward, Akron Javontae Campbell, Senior, Guard, Bowling Green Nathan Claerbaut, Senior, Center, Central Michigan Delrecco Gillespie, Senior, Forward, Kent State MAC All-Freshman Team Eric Mahaffey, Guard, Akron Mohammad Habhab, Forward, Eastern Michigan Quinn Woidke, Guard, Kent State Danny Carbuccia, Guard, Massachusetts Leroy Blyden Jr., Guard, Toledo
  7. Spreads for the Quarterfinals are below. Will there be any upsets? Akron (-12.5) over Buffalo Miami (-7.5) over UMass Toledo (-1.5) over BG Kent (-3.5) over Ohio
  8. I wouldn't even say he was the biggest snub on that list. Freitag should have made 2nd Team. UB was a completely different team with him healthy.
  9. Mahaffey Honorable Mention is a joke.
  10. Just saw a mid major poll that had Miami #1 ahead of Gonzaga. 22 first place votes to 5. Talk about garbage in and garbage out.
  11. Further motivation in the tournament, as if any more were needed.
  12. TJ got robbed. I'm not even sure if Suder put up the best numbers on his own team, let alone the MAC. They should just change the award name to best player on the best team. That's all it ever is anymore.
  13. Yea that is a joke.
  14. And if they had lost one of those close games early in the season, say to us, the only national conversation around Sweater hoops would be whether they should even be on the bubble for the NCAAT if they don't get the MAC's automatic bid from the conference tournament.
  15. Shammas 6th Man of the year...again.
  16. Horrendous lack of knowledge from Ken lol.
  17. Suder POTY LOL
  18. Barring Buffalo somehow falling to Q4 and beating us we finished 16-0 and undefeated for the second straight year in Q4 games. Might sound like a “no crap we should stat” but hey I’ve seen good Akron teams and other good mid major teams drop Q4s so its impressive
