I agree. There does seem to be an uptick in international players so it's hard to get an idea of how good those players are so maybe there is an unknown gem there. The other transfers it's hard to get excited over anyone. As musical chairs starts to near an end and there are no seats left at these high major schools, I think you will see someone like UMass sign 1-2 high quality mid-major producers.

Thanks for sharing. It sounds like Ford signed a 5 year deal at $500K/yr. That's $350k less than what Groce was making, plus we received a $350K buyout from Groce leaving. Hopefully that money was mostly reinvested in the program. Whether it be assistant coach salaries, revenue share, travel, etc.

I'm not impressed by most MAC additions.
-
How does this compare around the MAC? Most MAC teams have been decimated by the portal and graduations.
-
Zips add Exavier Wilson and Max Burton. Sharron Young and Eric Mahaffey depart. Still to be determined is the status of the incoming Freshman class along with Bowen Hardman and Ognjen Stankovic who are in the portal.

It would be nice if he develops at least a semblance of an offensive game.
-
Chris pitched five shutout innings spacing 4 hits in 5 innings. Now we can watch the rest of the game pulling for the Guardians.

Sorry for the late info but Chris Bassett is pitching against Cleveland on TV. The game is scoreless in the third inning. its been a long time since I saw him pitch.
-
Wouldn't be surprised if he pushes for All MAC in some regard. Honorable Mention, Defensive Team, etc. He has the head on his shoulders to achieve whatever he wants.
-
Hoping he takes the Jimmy Conyers leap this year

Halligan is on scholie now …

Marvin and Zach both officially committed for next year.

Not sure if Akron being listed first is meaningful or not.

I know a former coach of his at Louisville… he told me this was in the works for awhile. Akron was a serious contender, but he chose money over winning (is what I was told)
