There were some great things at last nights game. It was good to see Josh have solid game. He penetrated to the basket and hit some big threes in the second half. Kwan was once a again a monster with his outside shooting. Big Dog was once again unstoppable under the basket. Antino had some great dribble drive penetration and hit some key shots. The bad is obvious. Big Dog had 18 foul shots and hit less than half. (although he made the one that counted) Buffalo had 5 guys that can dribble drive to the basket and they must have had 20 layups last night. Our guys are not quick enough to keep their guy in front of them on the dribble drive off a ball screen. Teams can see how bad we are on the high ball screens and they keep coming each game. Big Dog and Kwan were not great rim protectors last night. Poke is a great rim protector but when he is out there we give up too many offensive rebound. Guys who block shots are not always great rebounders (Zeke Marshall) I said it in another post and last nights game just illustrates the point but this team has to improve their defense in order to be considered for an at large bid or to win its first tournament game.2 points

Skip Zip; On crowd noise/intensity, it seems that all the fan 'contests' during every time-out really deflate the arena energy. Especially when it's an opposing teams time-out. Really wish they'd limit that stuff to the 1st half.2 points

I'm not going to pretend to know how good this recruiting class is or isn't, but can we please quit trying to brag about a 6th place MAC finish? I'd hope we'd have our eyes set on something bigger.1 point

He actually ended up being the teams leading scorer his senior year. I'd also include Jimmy Conyers in that group too. I still don't know if any of them made quite the leap it appears Kwan has.1 point

I'm Dylan's HS coach. Jake and Dylan both live near Bainbridge but Jake attended Waverly HS. There's only one HS in Bainbridge. We're located 60-miles south of Columbus. There's another Bainbridge in northern Ohio.1 point

They actually had 3 bigs foul out. I viewed Dambrot more so substituting offense for defense. It's why he took Big Dog out on the defensive end for E and why he would take E out and put Big Dog back in on the offensive end. He also let Robotham play defense with his 4 fouls because he is a better option than what he had on the bench. Had he been playing for overtime he wouldn't have risked Robotham picking up a ticky tack 5th on the defensive end.1 point

Wish we had offered Bentley earlier. Hope it's not too late. I think he's a good player, almost a carbon copy of Hoban's Jabari Taylor. Maybe we offered Bent after Taylor opted for Cincy.1 point

Zags look to be heading to 22-0 and a possible #1 ranking and have beaten 17 of their foes by 20 or more. The group they have not include Akron, Arizona, Iowa State and Florida. Of course I also noticed they did not play a single non-conference game away from home. They really are acting like a high major. :-) So the Zips may have played a team ranked #1 at some point during the season the past two years.1 point

LeBron was 100% chill tonight, except for Kwan's back-to-back 25-foot 3 pointers. He was standing out ON THE COURT when he hit those! He quickly sat back down both times. Savanah just looked @ him, laughed & shook her head. Lol.1 point

I think when Kwan made that final '3', we went up like 73-64? I know it was a nine point lead. Then we tried to run out the clock again . My heart can't take many more of these.1 point

Hunter Corne wins the team MVP tonight at the Dunnellon High School football banquet.1 point

Gilbert is headed to Bethune-Cookman he was wearing their shirt the other day and Hunter Corne talked to him to see what was up. He has put back on some weight since the season ended. Hunter Corne also receive a 2nd home visit Wed from Coach Eekken to cross the T's answer dot the I's. Hunter has had late push from FAU and FIU but told them he was not interested. He has been committed since July and told them he will not go back on his word. The High school signing is at 4pm that day but he will fax his LOI in early that morning. He will be a Zip no doubt.1 point

Kwan heard what I was saying a few weeks ago about he would be a good fit for the Cavs and is using today as his tryout in front of the King.1 point

Halftime show: LeBron walks to half court and presents the president and AD with a huge check for a new arena. Just an idea... Or maybe more of a dream...1 point

I've seen Nate Oats run down and apparently try to spook Kwan twice now on that corner 3. A little classless if you ask me.1 point

I underlined that because, let's be real here, Universities that participate in D-I athletics...or really NCAA athletics that have a religious affiliation, are basically it in name only. Lots of kids get scholarships to John Carroll and Notre Dame College here in NEO that have 0 affiliation to the religion/sect of those universities before, during, or after their time there. They go for the sports scholarship. Period.1 point

Baylor boosters and students wanted Briles reinstated for 2017. Google it and read some of the articles. Pretty disgusting.1 point
