We've got a top ten team again. I'm content with this ranking for now. In fact, I like it. I want this year's version of Zip soccer to be hungry and fight for everything they want. We have the season to show what we've got. I believe the boys will do just that. See you at First Energy for the 1:00 game vs Penn State on August 16. That will be a good glimpse of what we have. C'mon boys, let's return to the top!2 points

UA was, I believe, the only college to get a name drop during the inductee announcements before the Hall of Fame game. Hopefully the 23k avid football fans there learned something.2 points

Unfortunately the only thing that excites Joe Akron is Ohio State. The Zips could go 13-0 and qualify for a New Years six game and Joe Akron would pay little attention. It sucks, but I think it is the reality. Although I would love to go 13-0 and hopefully find out that I am wrong.1 point

I wouldn't be surprised if some of that has to do with enrollment going down. I believe we just graduated our largest senior class ever. It's going to take 4-5 years to cycle last years really small freshman class through the system. Our incoming freshman numbers are trending upwards again, but they still aren't at the levels they were 3-4 years ago.1 point
