Ulysees is a Tyler Matakevich injury away from getting some defensive stats. Tyler is ahead of Ulysees on the depth chart. Chickillo’s injury will effect another MAC player, Adeniyi Olasunkanmi from Toledo. He will rotate in with Dupree and Watt on the outside.

Chickillo and Vince Williams are out Sunday which means Ulysees should be #3 at MLB behind Barron and Bush if I'm remembering the roster correctly. Matjakevich might be a factor as well

I like it. Unfortunately the corner poles are load-bearing and cannot be eliminated. This architect was an idiot. Dr. Guezetta and the board of trustees were idiots for approving the architectual plans. I have felt for a long, long time that UA continually has incompetent boards of trustees. For Decades our problems, academic or athletic, continue to go back to their decisions.

The first question shows the sad state of affairs. Go Zips! I will be there early to cheer on my alma mater.

The biggest issue is those damn support poles in each corner. If there's a way to remove those without sacrificing the integrity of the structure, you could give the JAR a complete makeover. Get rid of the track. Move the upper level forward to connect with the lower level, making continuous sections all the way up. Add wrapped-corner seating in all 4 corners. Leave 2-3 openings in the middle of each side for walk ways, while putting the hallways behind the sections since you're moving the upper sections forward.

Oh, so now we're expected to rely on people who go to practices and games and interact with the players as opposed to people who read two articles in the Beacon and the box scores every week?

Here's what you need to do Danny. Get a time machine and fly back in time to the previous staff, and watch some practices and talk to the players. Then fast forward to the present and look at all the same things. Voila! The players care, the coaches care, people around the program care. That's not something I saw last year when I would go to practice and spend time around the players. But I'm seeing it now. If people don't want to believe me, then don't! It certainly could change again. As I said, I am not yet a big fan of this coaching staff, but they are doing things right in some places and I will give them credit. Organizational culture in sport isn't defined by a win-loss record in a team's first season. Stop being so myopic.

It's just a shame the Trojans never played in the Rubber Bowl.
