Btw, what an absolutely worthless article^^. GT's apparently been spending much more time analyzing the subtle nuances of She-Hulk as opposed to Zips football. I learned one nugget; Jeslord Boateng was moved from OLB to ILB. The Akron Beacon Journal editors should be embarrassed and ashamed to accept and actually publish obvious mail-in efforts such as this.
Perhaps you should consider the possibilty that the coaching staff is unwilling to give George much information to be published. Giving away your game plan and indepth player evaluations probably isn't the best bet either.
By the way, why does it seem like our schedule is always one of the last two be announced? Seems like we always find out non-conference, non-early-season-tourney games through other teams' schedules. By the time ours is fully announced, everything except which Point Park we play.
I’m anxious to see what our defensive scheme is. It seems like we are playing a 4-2-5 from the clips we’ve seen and what I saw in the 2nd half of the spring game But that could be misleading due to the defense matching up with the offense’s base 11 personnel. Could be similar to what UGA does where they are grounded in the 3-4 but bring an OLB down as a DE, shift the DL, and walk another OLB out in coverage giving look of a 4-2-5 and taking on some of its principals.
Pretty sure we are not playing a 3-3-5 like the guys from SBNation kept referring to.
I agree, getting to a good team would put wind in his sails. He had a great outing last night at home against Boston though. 7 innings pitched, 2 hits, 7 K's, no runs and got the win (apparently he exited due to a blister). Bassitt is on the hill tonight for the Mets.
This is how I felt about Zeke Marshall. We went to UA at the same time and he was an all around good dude and great student. I wish LCJ and him could have played together. They are my favorite two all-time favorite Zips basketball players and feel like that combo would have crushed it on the court.
"They just want to be given a road map."
I would love to see what this road map looks like that has convinced donors to shell out so much money for the facilities.
He needs out of there. The Pirates are hitting .220 as a team and are almost last in run support. His ERA is right at the MLB average. Good K/BB ratio.
At 28, this is where pitchers usually peak. #WeWillSee
