I like Joe too. He does a very good job with little support. His comments are informed and positive despite being given little to be positive about. He loves the Zips. Any criticism of him is based on style and not substance. He's unique, he's ours and I am glad to have him.5 points

I'm really looking forward to seeing how this group improves throughout the season. With the only seniors being Morgan Haney, Alexis Stewart, and Tahmala Thorpe, this program has a chance to have a special season next year. However, they're already making strides and I can't wait to see how much they grow in conference play.3 points

Sounds like it’s just a way to make sure rivalries stay intact and each team plays each other at least once in 3 years time. Supposedly: Buffalo, Akron, Kent State Ohio, Miami, Ball State Toledo, Bowling Green, NIU EMU, CMU, WMU2 points

I love Joe Dunn. He's one of us. Plus, I think he does a good job. I don't know how he's remained so positive and optimistic through all these years.2 points

I believe that this is a new 2024 recruit...that we do not know about.... club team in FC Alliance in the ECNL played high school ball for Webb School in Knoxville, TN the 2nd link below...showed that the zip recruit had 13 goals and 2 assists in games played thru September 20 of this year https://www.instagram.com/p/CzhGtz3pw0G/ https://www.knoxnews.com/story/sports/high-school/2023/09/20/tennessee-high-school-girls-soccer-knoxville-2023-tssaa-season-top-players-midseason/70877826007/ Eesha Sutharshan, Knoxville Webb: Sutharshan, an Akron commit, has 13 goals and two assists. 3rd link shows that Eesha was selected to the All Region team https://www.chattanoogan.com/2023/10/25/477159/Division-II-AA-East-All-Region-Soccer.aspx Eesha was also invited to play in The Tennessee all star soccer game. You can see from Eesha's tweet below that she had a goal an assist in the all star game Eesha's tweet I had a great time at the TACA All-Star Senior Game! My East team won 6-1, and I had a goal and assist! Thank you for the opportunity.1 point

and I'd personally expect to bring in as many that go out. We have 1 HS commit.....expecting 2 transfers in with the current picture. Unsure how Jankowski seems to stick around lol1 point

Definitely saw this one coming. That makes three 2023 QB's off the roster for 2024.1 point

Stupid move. I liked the divisions. Besides Miami is 10-2, Toledo is 11-1, I think the best teams in the conference are already the top dogs of their divisions. How about we move to 9 conference games, 4 crossover instead?1 point

I too think the world of Joe. I just think with all the misery he's dealt with in Zips sports, especially football, he'd be well prepared to be a funeral director.1 point

Every time I think of Bradley I recall how Dustin's brother, Geno Ford, breached his contract with PCCC to take the job at Bradley. Final result- PCCC got a judgment for $1.2 million against old Geno! He lasted only 4 years there.1 point

Yup, this is also a method. Phenomenal job by the Mountain West to make their conference's athletics so accessible.1 point

It seemed to me Gathings kept the attitude in check a lot more during the OU game. Hopefully that for good.1 point

I thought he looked pretty smooth, and with his stature I thought next year he'd probably be taking George's place as a relatively big possession receiver.1 point

If this was Kansas, Bill Self would've hooked him up with Snoop Dogg, strippers, and weed, then receive no punishment.1 point

In a QB the winning foundation has to be there. In Bullock I don't see it. With him decision making and accuracy are lost. He has had a spring season (I think), off-season, pre-season and a full season to show progress. It hasn't been there. If Joe is counting on him we are building a house of cards that will collapse under pressure. A new QB or two must be brought in. I am most curious to find out why there is zero mention of Steele Wasel 6'3" 215. His signing was heralded and supposedly we beat out Oregon so he must have had some ability. Why has he seemingly fallen off the radar? Even when we were desperate for a win he was not discussed as an option. Did the staff find he was way below expectations?1 point

I watched the Crew playoff game at a microbrewery outside Columbus with a friend whose daughter plays for OP (Ohio Premier). OP is the best club side in central Ohio for women. They are one of five Ohio clubs that play in the ECNL (Elite Club National League). She said Jen has signed four girls off of this season's OP team. In her opinion they are better than the talent UA has signed in the past. She also said Vakos is the real deal and undoubtedly the best GK in Ohio. Jen could be on the cusp of turning this around.1 point

Not much here that hasn’t already been discussed. However, JoeMo mentioned several times throughout the broadcast that Norton is the most talented wide receiver on the roster. Also mentioned a really good one coming in next year (Kyan Mason). HS recruiting is mostly done for this class, but expect to bring in 25-30 players total, meaning the rest will be JUCO and portal. Alex Adams is still hurt with a lingering lower body issue and not sure if he’ll be back this year. Will look to fix the issue over the offseason.1 point

To even suggest that MSOC need to “regain relevance” is a pathetic statement. You have been a bitter old man lately.0 points
