Great team win last night. Happy to see a number of players get into the game and take advantage of their opportunity.2 points

Maximus Barboto delivered the sweetest assist to Stefan Dobrijevic, beating 4 defenders with one pass on the floor. Inexplicably, Max has played only sparingly so far this season. Every time#21 gets a chance on the pitch, he contributes to a scoring play. Max is also a re-start specialist, good on free kicks/corner kicks. It seems that Barboto deserves more playing time because of his offensive creativity.2 points

Enrique played 11 minutes scoring 6 points making his only 2 point attempt, missed his only 3, while going 4-4 from the line. 2 offensive and 2 defensive rebounds to go with 1 assist and 1 steal. Unfortunately 3 turnovers and 3 fouls while the team was -2 while he was in there.2 points

I don't smell a conspiracy. I think that the inconsistencies and inaccurate reporting ....are due to the men's soccer SID.....doing the bare minimum. I agree with Fknbuflobo and NYCZip......that the assist almost certainly came from Barboto. That young man has great field vision and needs to be seeing more playing time.1 point

While I have implicit belief in fknbuflobo's there is a lot of contradiction from the Akron gamecast, I had taken it from that, when they did list Kopay. Now however his assist has been moved to Borneos goal and Barboto with Dobrijevic. One stat sheet, however, lists Barboto with an assist and another with nothing. I smell conspiracy. 😊1 point

Barboto. I was there. Corroborated by box score. That pass was sublime, really next level stuff. The highlight on X does not quite catch it. Whoever made that pass was seeing the whole field as as few players can.1 point

can @fknbuflobo tell us if the Guardians are going to win this afternoon?1 point

Unfortunately half of the attendance last night were Wright State fans. I hope we get more support Saturday.1 point

Who had the assist on the Dobrijevic goal? The zip player had great vision....and perfectly threaded the pass thru many Wright State players. Really happy to see Caleb Borneo get a goal. Very unselfish pass by Dyson......on the goal by Daniel Firek.1 point

JD being promoted would be awful for this program my god.. we're talking about someone who not only would be so out of his league when it comes to NIl and the current NCAA landscape, but someone who wasn't even in touch with the previous era. I mean folks, it was 2011 when he last had a coaching job and mid 2000's as head coach.1 point

I can tell we are on different sides of this conversation, so no need to continue it, however I can tell you from first hand knowledge, a lot of players are looking for that kind of tradition and connection. Especially those that understand that they are not going pro.1 point

the stadium and its debt will still be there, regardless of if there's a football team or what division they play in1 point

At this point I kind of want to just wait and see what happens. It seems we’re headed for a separate G6 league. If that’s the case, I would want to be all in on spending to compete in that league. For now, there is zero chance a team like Akron can compete in FBS, but I also don’t want to see us drop down to FCS and admit we’re as small-time as YSU. Whether we are or not is a different debate.1 point

@catdaddyp Virginia (Corey Thomas) played BC yesterday. EDIT: Did not realize that was the prior week's recap. My bad.1 point
