Random thoughts from the pillow fight that I watched last night: - Finley‘s interception in the end zone was atrocious. Those are the type of decisions that lose games. - overall, I was happy to see that it was a relatively smart game for Akron. Not that many stupid penalties, personal files, etc.. - obviously, the defense played well. More specifically, I thought they tackled really well. - as usual, I think we abandoned the run game too quickly, especially as inaccurate as Finley was last night - I don’t understand why we don’t run more two tight end sets. Especially, since we have some tight ends that have proven they can catch the ball - glad to see we are rotating punters, smart move because at this rate, their feet will get very sore

Gotta say, this place is poppin- way longer lines than usual this far before the game. Hope it translates into a big crowd.

A win would obviously be great but more importantly, they absolutely have to play well and look like an organized, disciplined football team. If this team comes out and has multiple turnovers, stupid penalties, metal errors, and bad decisions I will lose faith in Coach JoeMo. The portal has obviously hurt this team and to some extent, Joe can’t control the talent level on this team, but they can play smart, disciplined football and improve their odds of winning. A sloppy loss tomorrow will be a very bad indicator of where this team is headed.

Hopefully it’s good game. In my opinion, Akron easily has the best stadium in the MAC. Just wish there were more asses in the seats! What is Wyoming’s typical home attendance?

Has Akron released their depth chart?

Wyoming has a new QB and a good offensive line. Seems to me that this game will be won or lost based on how good Wyoming runs the ball. If they are getting a good push and controlling the clock I think they win. If the Zips can stop the run, force a new qb into some 3rd and longs then it favors the Zips.

Something about this just doesn’t add up - must be more to this story. Maybe he just waited too long and this was the only offer still on the table? There is no way that he chooses Akron over some of those other schools. I’m guessing that it was Buffalo, Akron, Tulsa, and Sacramento State as the only valid offers left and he chose Akron.

I don’t know how in the hell they could get to $1 million in NIL unless Kaulig dumps it all into the pot. I say this half jokingly, but it really is pathetic, maybe they could offer food as an NIL as an incentive of to keep some kids.?

It’s the annual bible of college football information. It lists every team’s depth chart, stats, and other info. I’d post a screenshot but the type is so small and packed with info that it would be hard to read. You can buy it online or some bookstores carry it.

Wow, surprised that the Zips are that big of an underdog at home against a team that was 3-9 last year. Not saying it should be an easy win, but that seems like alot of points.
