It's cool but every one of those points are due to the "third place" finish of the soccer team. Clayton Murphy's victory didn't even help because it didn't put the Zips in a top ten position in T&F (they finished 23rd). So again while cool its more due to the excellence of one program rather than across the board athletic excellence (even though this was one of the best athletic years overall for the Zips men's teams that I can remember).

I've seen it too on IE11 but its always seemed to be when there was a picture posted at end of the thread that seemed to cause the problem.

Now that the current HOF class has been announced they're going to start winnowing the list for the class of 2017, This happens to be the first year of eligibility for Jason Taylor along with some other notable players. The only new ones I see as being ahead of Taylor are LaDanian Tomlinson and Hines Ward. Of course there are plenty of currently eligible players as well, so I don't necessarily see him getting in on the first attempt but I'll bet it's no longer than three.

And a terrible situation to deal with right off the bat. :( Always wish Brian nothing but the best, I found he and his family are terrific people for the few times I was able to interact with them.

Once at a soccer game I happened to sit next to coach Boals who didn't know me at all but struck up a conversation anyway. Couldn't have been a nicer or more engaging personality. Happy for him but also happy he didn't end up in the MAC so that I won't have to root against him. :-)

Good article I hope he gets a chance to catch on somewhere. I don't remember playing South Florida - I suspect FIU got lost in translation somewhere. :) Didn't mention playing at Michigan which was by far the best of the P5 games.
