  1. Wait! The HUDL video shows him at 6'4", Big Shots says 6'0" That is a pretty big difference.
  2. I think he is going to get some major major offers. Seems to be a pure shooter. The one thing that concerns me is that he seems to shoot two handed. Don't know if that will be successful in D1 with tall opponents. But at 6'4" (and maybe a little more by the time he makes it to college) it may not be an issue.
  3. If Groce had not insisted on moving screens, he might not have fouled out.
  4. I was thinking the same thing too. Cooper type player, and we have not had someone with hops like that since ever. Can not only help win games, can also generate some real interest in the team. Meanwhile, as I have stated before, we only ended the season with two D1 players, LCJ and Cheese. Anyone else can be on the chopping block to free up a scholarship, starting with Sayles, who never plays anyway.
  5. Highlight videos always make it look like the guy scores every time he touches the ball. That being said, he looks to have real potential.
  6. He is a player and looks like he might bulk up a bit.
  7. But it would be a year later. We need players, not 12 people sitting on the bench who are not allowed to play.
  8. Some of you guys are putting a lot of faith in players who have never touched a D1 ball.
  9. I want the entire team!
  10. I was confused because he is listed as a POWER forward. It's been a while since Tree left.
  11. Oh great one, please enlighten us. How many 6'8" FORWARDS do we have on the current roster?
  12. Seems like a guy who could help us.
  13. That's some good stuff you are smoking. Did you get it from a former PG?
  14. So... Can he get a scholarship. Sit for a year. Graduate. Then leave and play someplace else?
  15. That's what I thought but he was already basically off the team and not on the scholarship chart.
  16. I agree 100%. Two wasted years and still only two D1 players, one of whom is good but his nickname is "shorty". I will forfeit next year if he would dump what we have and recruit some freshmen with room to grow.
  17. At least he gets a shot to play in the dance. maybe.
  18. So he takes a scholarship in a year he can't play, with no guarantee that he ever actually plays one minute for us? That is crazy, he is not close to good enough to be worth it. Give the scholly to a HS senior with some real potential.
  19. averaged 3.5 points, 1.7 rebounds, 0.85 assists, and 12.4 minutes per game… seriously, what does he do for us?
  20. The funny thing is, with all the lawyers that Nike pays, one would think that if they were seriously at risk they would have paid him off.
