AGREED...working in the department I have seen alot of changes some for the good some for the bad...but it is sad that my boss approved what went up on the board that evening...at the same time I could have brought the iris down to take away the hot light...but did the message get its point across I hope so! you may want to watch what you publically say about your 'bosses'. make sure to be prepared to take responsbility for your actions.

getting back to the topic of this YSU debate (again) ERRRRRRRRRRRRRRR pitt game possibility. I would have to say if we can get them for a home game early in the year we should so it. I would give them home-away-away for the opportunity to beat the big dog that we need to beat to get the big time kids in the western Pa area, this would be a big chance for us. if we lose, so what, we still can recruit the same kids. At least this way we get to play in front of the recruiting base and play a competitive game.

If you should happen to be a season ticket holder and pay big bucks for all your tickets, just what do you think when you see this type of promotion well into the season. I know that after buying seaon tickets in football, then leaning that they were selling general admission tickets for the Bowling Green game for half price didn't make me too happy. And where does someone find out about these promotions ... not at GoZips.com. There is NOTHING there under Promotions or Tickets about his $1.00 special, also nothing is there about the 2 for 1 basketball game admission, you have to read between the lines. this is not a very good practice and quick way to lose your season ticket base. why pay a donation fee plus full season ticket price when you can easily get in to every game for far less and have more money left over.

It wasn't a complete joke last year. It was the best I've seen in 6-7 years of going to games. So things were changed, although everything was working. And now this year so far? Kind of a joke... again, i agree... i said ha-ha

Obviously you are not from Akron, or you would too, like everyone from Akron does. Say, you're not the chap from Pepper Pike are you? i'm from there and have never used "Akron U". it's a slang term that people call it. It never was Akron University although some claim that it was. I believe the name picked up steam in the early 60's with the 'Wrecking Crew from Akron U in '62'. Can someone verify if this is even right? I thought i read it in a basketball program last year but i could be wrong. Either way as long as you know your Diploma says 'The University of Akron' i guess you can call it what you want. We're all Zips fans afterall!

There will always be assholes who let their "power" go to their heads. Its not very surprising that they would rather see a half empty student section then allow people in and not get the opportunity to flex their "get out of my section" muscle. And they still can't pay a student $6.00/hr to give the fans some stats at the games. How freaking bush-league can you get? A 6-1 Division 1 basketball team with about $2million dollars in scoreboards and they can't give you one freaking statistic the entire game. Hey - Great live shots of the basketball game going on directly below the monitors. Everyone in the stands wants to look up at that monitor to see the game rather than watch it on the court below. look, i get it i really do. There is a reason that these kids are not 1-A. Not to disrespect YSU or App. State but if those kids were good enough they would be playing at a higher level. i do feel that the coaching is a lot better in 1-AA than people realize. That is why you see 1-AA teams even close or even beating some 1-A teams. It's the perception of them not being as good so guys don't play as hard or pepare as well as they should. Any 1-A team that plays a 1-AA school during the season is not going to go out there and give 100%. The 1-AA squad is going to play their A game and givie it all they have. That is reality. If you put Can't uniforms on YSU guys they would get pummeled in the MAC.
