  1. Came down to cost (ended up cutting out the other ribbon board last minute), and they do use it for game stats and scores, but we have to have some stats to actually put on it, and as you recall, we were not very stat heavy last year.
  2. Once you talk up the program, per NCAA definition, you are a booster.
  3. We'll pretend this statement wasn't made. Please review rules for being a booster.
  4. You should up date that to modern times... Barberton...Where baby strollers are middle school graduation gifts. Barberton...come for the chicken, stay for the incest.
  5. It's spring weather, you can't predict what it will do 4 days out. Last Tuesday they called for severe T-storms over the weekend, we barely got any rain. Channel 5 is saying 60-ish and possible showers, my phone is saying 65 and cloudy. It will be a mid afternoon game so even T-storms on Friday just means the possibility of wet seats by 3 on Saturday.
  6. The private schools are the big boys. My point is these private schools sandbag by staying in a 5th or6th dinision.
  7. GP1 doesn't South Carolina have expanded playoffs too? I thought when my friend was down there trying to educate the youth he mentioned almost every team down there made the "playoffs". Until Ohio realizes that Cardinal Mooney and Manchester (despite similar student body counts) are not exactly at the same level and starts making all the parochial schools play in the same divisions, I won't pay attention to their "changes".
  8. I don't see a problem with it. But heck we can't even paint the concrete walls surrounding the field.
  9. Mayflower would never be demolished, but tenants can be moved.
  10. Dwight Lowery isn't a Zip? Bain felt pain mainly in his brain and got in only one play, but his legend will always remain.
  11. I'm happy with one blowout and 4-5 wins or no blowouts and 2-3 (assuming the one blowout is to Tennessee and not Western Michigan, Northern Illinois or any other MAC school, ugh that was embarassing).
  12. Well you are a statistics guy, Bowden sets a goal of 100% improvement. Dambrot dismisses an expectation of roughly 4% improvement by fans.
  13. Not very intimate. Would be great to have a match on it for the players, great views for fans, but not very good views of the match.
  14. That was the only one I could tolerate. It's a decent general shirt just not really Football.
  15. Glass half empty because you assume that everyone is motivated by money, and that our coach could be bought despite constantly saying how loyal he is. Not to mention if I'm in his situation Duquesne is a wasteland (as I described before) and he likely made $500,000 after bonuses and loyalty awards and what does his Summa endorsement contract look like? By the time you total everything up here, and factor in the mess that is Duquesne, why would he ever consider leaving for that job at just $250,000 more?
  16. If a Roo is the poo, he's still better then K S U.... I got nothing...
  17. You are a glass half empty guy despite the fact that our glass is totally full.
  18. There you go Rowdies, you have a nice big sign to make, let's see it in the stands on the 21st
  19. BG is the same distance from Toledo as Akron is from Cleveland 25 minutes. But you miss the point of the whole thing. BG has their largest alumni base in Columbus, and unlike an Akron, has a very strong and loyal alumni base.
  20. You would be in a city, a CITY!, where you are the third best team in that city. Its hard to get noticed as a 30,000 student university when you are the lone dog on your area, and Duquesne thinks they have any shot at being successful at all with Robert Morris and a future ACC basketball program in their city. That job is a no brainer, as in, you would have to have no brain to take that job.
  21. Yeah it supposed to be... Fear the Roo DADUM! DADGUM! Fear the Roo Fear the DADGUM! Roo I mean we know what it is, but a casual on looker wouldn't.
  22. Probably more then want to drive up a snowy I-75 to an empty city of Bowling Green, OH to see a game.
  23. Probably the same thing that made her inaccurately quote Jimmy C's OU salary... $425,000 not $600,000
