    They need to take the big payday from the Tennessee game and pay this bum off. Do it now. Name an interim coach. Anybody they name couldn't do a worse job than Arf. Then start a real search for a real HC.

    All those other levels spend less money for the cost of scholarships. D2, D3, and NAIA spend zero. FCS still less than FBS.

    Less overhead. No $550k head coaches. Vast administrative costs and recruiting budgets. Far fewer scholarship dollars spent. Just to name a few.

    I'm happy my youngest graduated last May and is away from this scene. He was a Phi Si and attended many parties just south of campus. It's always the outsiders who cause 99% of the trouble. Short of banning all parties I don't know what UA can do to prevent an incident like this.

    Guthrie told me that anything less than 6 wins per season is not acceptable. I assumed he meant that included this season. Miller and Guthrie are on the clock now. They expect results and so do I.

    In case you haven't noticed, there is a pretty severe labor shortage happening right now in every segment of our economy. As an employer it is nearly impossible to even get people to apply for jobs let alone show up for an interview or accept a position. Also, I'm a season ticket holder and I received a food voucher for every game.

    It's amazing that Bowden remembered his name. That was a problem during his time with the Zips. On the coaches show and interviews with GT he would often only refer to players by their number.

    The pace of the race for the first half was so slow that all of the competitors had enough left in the tank to counter Murphy's late race kick.
