When we lined up on 4th and 4 with Grice in the backfield it was perfect time to run a QB bootleg or some other kind of misdirection. Instead we just give the ball to a guy who hasn't needed to gain more than one yard on any carry this season. This offense is so predictable that we make horrible defenses like BG's look good.

#7 was instrumental in both plays by avoiding contact. On the interception in the endzone #7 just watched as a BG lineman took a direct line to Pohl forcing a bad throw. If he makes that block, the result is probably a TD.

In my experience that would be zero.

There is still hope. Don't give up on the idea of a new arena yet.

A couple of people have mentioned to me it didn't appear that Pohl was really dressed for the game. He didn't have a helmet, wasn't wearing his knee brace and didn't appear to be taped. He looked like a guy who ready to carry a clipboard on the sidelines.

Your son doesn't play football does he? I'm glad mine quit after the 7th grade. He only had 2 concussion type hits. After the second one, he decided he was done with football. Two of his friends at Green have been knocked out cold this season and had to be carried off on a backboard and take an ambulance ride to the ER. Luckily neither one suffered a serious neck injury. Both are done for the season and their parents are happy they don't have to worry anymore.

I think the sport in serious trouble if there is no solution to the concussion issue in the next 10 years. Parents are not going to let little Johnny play and eventually the sport will die out. Only a major advance in protective head gear will change this. Most of the parents of my son's friends who are playing right now regret the day they let their kids start to play.

Melo is only a few classes short of graduation. I hope he stays at UA long enough to get his degree. The team is in much better shape at point guard than we were at this point last year. He would have been nice to have around as a backup.

The Media has made their choices. Toledo was picked for the MAC West champions and to win the MAC Tournament. I believe that if Big Dog is able to overcome his injury we will win it all. It is an odd numbered year after-all. Men's Basketball Selected as MAC East Favorite in Media Poll

I wouldn't bother tuning in then if I were you. Trust me on this one.

Before the taping of the show, Bowden and Joe Dunn discuss what the content of the show will be. The show is designed to make the program and the HC look good so I doubt you are going to see any criticism of either. All the footage is provided by the university and Joe's job is to ask leading questions so the coach can get his message across. This show is not independently produced but is just a marketing platform by UA. When was the last time you heard a tough question on this type of program? Never.

The host of the show has zero input as to the content of the show. He is a paid announcer who is given a script to follow. It's the way that every coaches show is done. It's not 60 Minutes.
