  1. God Bless The Process
  2. Getting out of "Sky is Falling" mode for a second or two, a torn meniscus is not a big deal now-a-days. Elton mentioned he could be out for 1 month, which wouldn't be catastrophic....get a few games under his belt in December, and he's good-to-go for the MAC season (Deji, not Elton). This could be much Abreu about nothing?
  3. Our offense can't control the ball to save it's life. I can't recall one long drive this season that wasn't aided by some inane penalty or mistake by the opponent. The Zips are the Get Well Card for the MAC's downtrodden. Look for a bad CMU team to be the latest in a looooong list of D1 opponents to thoroughly drub Rob Ianallo's team on it's home field. The MAC has figured it out - stop Chisholm and the Zips are done.
  4. Back up PG position now up-in-the-air
  5. It is very simple:If two people agree to take their beef off-board, I'm fine with it. It's invisible to me, and causes me no work.If one guy opens his PM box and finds he's being threatened by a random member, it becomes a problem.
  6. This thread will CEASE.I will state the following, and put an end this conversation. And I do NOT want any PM's, or discussions in Lot 9 regarding this topic. After this post, it is OVER.1.) There are some people on this board who are wordsmiths. The don't say "FU," they don't directly call you a "retard," but they use clever little passive-aggressive techniques to belittle other posters. Their intent is IDENTICAL to the guy that says FU, and will be treated as such.If you passive-aggressively poke at someone, and that person responds by calling you a derogatory name, don't come whining to me. And don't act like you didn't initiate, or escalate it. The Moderators here are not stupid. 2.) PM, at ZN.o means "Positive Message." If you PM someone, you should be telling them you agree with them, you liked their post, you want to hook up and have a pre-game beer one day, etc. A PM is NOT infer "I'm seated in Section XX Buddy, and if you want a piece of me, you know where I'm at." That use of the PM function sickens me. If some of you thin-skinned posters want to know why some Zips fans stay away from this board, you really need to look in the mirror. You THINK you're right when you point fingers at others and decry their actions, but you are in fact more responsible than you ever could fathom.3.) There are a few people on ZN.o who are compelled to, almost hourly, force their version of morality on the other posters and on ZN.o in general. They rarely talk about the game, but opine on how this would be a better place if only people could see the world through their eyes. You guys need to SHUT UP. I don't have time to deal with 3rd Grade BS. When this board becomes "work" for the Moderators, and not "fun," things must change.
  7. Please stop it with the tired O$U debate, or posts will be removed. Thanks
  8. I apologize if this is an inside joke and I just don't get it - Is this true? PM me if you'd like.
  9. Other schools in Division 1 football seem to find success without Jim Tressel. In fact, every successful D-1 program is enjoying it's success this season without Jim Tressel. Why can't the Zips identify such a coach?
  10. How many Florida kids on our roster? 1? How many Ohio kids? 50? I wouldn't recruit any of this coach's kids either. He seems like a jerk.
  11. You saw it at K.e.n.t. last year: 30 seconds to go until halftime, in the red zone, with THREE time outs remaining...and he centered the ball for a field goal. The guy doesn't know what it takes to win a football game.
  12. Possibly? I would think you'd know for certain if you were in attendance.
  13. How'd he feel about the FG attempt, down by 20 in the 4th qtr? Love cutting the margin from 20 to 17 with 8 minutes left. Nice job Rob. Way to quit. FU and your process.
  14. 27-16 OU wins"The Playmaker" throws for 172 yards, completes 14 passes, and the Zips faithful pen endless prose regarding his ever-growing legend.
  15. Guten morgen, all!See you at the game...unfortunately youth basketball runs until 3:00pm, so we will be a game-time arrival yet again.
  16. LR8 has shown he can run for a 1st down when the pocket collapses. He's a tough kid. Other than that, he hasn't shown much positive. If he needs to rely on the actual play-call, rather than running around like Fran Tarkenton, he's struggled. He had the chance to lead the team to wins against FIU and EMU, and the Zips offense fizzled in both 4th quarters. LR8 needs to pick up his game. Big time. Butchie could win, Frye could win, Getsy could win...even Jacquemain could win. It is tough watching such terrible QB play after a string of pretty decent ones.
  17. I thought ribs were scheduled for CMU and chili for Can't.And anything goes for OU (just trying to bait CK into posting the first chair bonger once again )?Greetings from Germany!Keener is correct, anything goes for this week's tailgate. CMU is the rib burnoff.
  18. Picking Kansas to get upset in the Big Dance by a mid-major is like shooting fish in a barrel.
  19. Temple seems to be doing a nice job.
  20. I'm sure it is, since that is the total compensation including car allowance, etc. $1,147,400 (2-years worth of compensation) for 2* wins? Great deal for the Zips. * Note - I think we will beat K.e.n.t. this season, so the combined 2-year win total will be "3."
  21. On February 8th, I wonder if their fat-ass center will try to kick any of our guys again?
  22. I'd rather it read like this:
  23. Sconiers was originally a Brookhart recruit.
  24. I believe Brian Wagner is our best player. WAY better than Suel or Chisholm. And Brookhart recruited him.
