#19 in the Mid-major Top 25 (before last night's win) I like this poll as a gauge of where the Zips rank among their peers. Liberty at #2, trailing only Gonzage (who should not be considered a mid-major). Kent sitting at #13.

Put me in the corner of Joe Moorhead. Took over a 1-10 Fordham team and completely turned their program around. Increased Penn State's offensive output by almost 100 yards per game after his arrival. No one will ever really "win" at Mississippi State. They'll always be 2nd tier SEC.

To me, Dre Williams was the only impactful loss. Alce average 1.6 tackles per game at Dodge City CC this year. White was slow afoot, and had ball security issues. I'll believe Hanson is at Iowa State when I see it.

I have followed Dayton and the A10 for quite a while and have never heard anybody refer to the A10 as a P5 conference. Is the A10 a (very) high mid major - yes, a consistent multiple bid conference - yep. Is the atmosphere at Dayton games P5 caliber - you bet, but several of the schools in the A10 play in facilities that resemble a small high school gym. Do you have a source for your P5 claim? FWIW - I didn't state the A-10 is a P5 conference in basketball, I said Dayton is a "P5" team in hoops. Source - They're ranked #14 in the most recent poll.
