Go to ncaabbs.com...all the conferences are there, including the MAC. Cincy is the least of the Big East...If you like Waddell and Thomas, then I suggest you go there and see what they are saying about them and us in the "queens city"....I rooted for Cincy (casually) from a distance in the past for all the obvious reasons.( They are part of Ohio, the Huggins connection, guys I went to high school went to school there, etc.) After reading what they say about us, I have only venomous feelings toward that school. :gun:I'll miss "The Wad" and I wish him the very best of luck, but I hope Cincy never wins another game, anytime, anywhere.

While I agree with most of what you say, I must take exception to the theory that we're better off not playing in the NCAA Tourney. Who says you're gonna win any games (or even be invited) in the NIT? Who says you would have been embarrassed in the NCAA Tourney? Akron could only get there by winning the MAC. Any teams first goal is to win the conference. So, I ask you, if their main objective is to win the MAC, then how can it be better NOT to win the MAC?

You know, you can say the team quit if that's what you think happened. I don't have a problem with people saying that. My own personal opinion is I thought it was a choke job. They started playing not to lose , instead of playing to win the game.I have to give a huge compliment to the Rowdies and to the fans who were there last night. It was like a home game for Akron and I thought that was awesome. Great atmosphere to be a Zips fan, too bad it had to end like it did. Again, way to go Rowdies, keep it up, you impressed a bunch of Oldies this season!
