  1. I think the Can't fans wanted to play Akron so they wouldn't have to watch that ambiguously gay rocket thing skate around and bob his head up and down anymore. No kidding, that's the faggiest mascot I have ever seen.
  2. Petersen did play well when he was in there. The guy I thought needed more minutes was Middleton. Dials was having a terrible night shooting the ball and Middleton seemed to have found his stroke. Who knows, it's too late now. Hell, I didn't wanna drive back up there again any damn way.
  3. I heard Toledo was bringing these guys in for a recruiting visit.
  4. WOW, I was there and I saw it, but I still can't believe it. If you can't score then you can't win, though. Nobody to blame tonight. The Zips just didn't put the ball in the hole in the last 10 minutes. Good luck to Toledo.
  5. Hixon's time is in the top three or four in both postions. Nice links, Tx. Thanks.
  6. I am not well informed about the kind of times that these guys run. Where does 4.38 put Hixon? What is considered a vey good time for a wr. or db? Obviously 4.38 is great , but how many guys will ran that at the combine? I would just like to have something to compare it to.
  7. Our Zips MUST convert the easy buckets. I can't even count how many shots they missed yesterday from within 4 or 5 feet. Convert those tonight and they'll win the game.
  8. I am so glad you posted this on here. I keep going back and watching it. It's great. Thanks, FearTheRoo !
  9. I just wanna beat Toledo. It can be by one point or by twenty, I don't really care. Take 'em one game at a time and keep on knockin' 'em down.
  10. I feel like the Zips should win the game. Especially after the way each of them played, today. Whos knows? Foul trouble, a bad game shooting the ball, turnovers could all spell trouble. They could do the same for Toledo. I predict that Zips eek on out.
  11. Toledo is hot but Akron is better. I guess we'll see. Go Zips!
  12. Toledo has been hot as of late, but they almost blew it today. The Zips just kept pounding away at WMU, and showed a lot of heart. I'd much rather play the team that blew a 21 point lead than the team that came from 21 down to win.
  13. Cool, at 6'6" 295 who cares which side of the line he's on as long as he's in there. I don't know why I thought he was prop 48, I hope you're right.
  14. Isn't Mark Jackson a center and a prop 48, too?
  15. Why do things you hear thru the grapevine always turn out to be true? Will JD be gone after next season? Someone tell me why not.
  16. I'll be listening at work, today. Bring home a "W" and I'll be there the rest of the weekend! Go Zips!
  17. Well, there are big shoes to fill. The D-Line was playing pretty well at the end of last season. Kiki, Reid and White were spending a lot of time in the opponent's backfields.
  18. Sounds to me like Wad is putting together the best staff he can. I wouldn't expect anything less from him. I know I keep saying it, but Cincinnati is very lucky to have him, and they don't even know it , yet.
  19. What about Swiger? Got a chance. Sullivan should do very well on Friday, it won't actually be 4 th down.
  20. Well, personally, I think Rohr could be a special teamer. His size is the one thing that holds him back, but his heart is not as easily measured. How about playing safety? You know he's not afraid to put a hat on a guy.
  21. It's goes without saying that we have to have a huge turnout for the roadie to Cincinnati on Oct. 7. Those queens took both Thomas and The Wad out of here in the same year. I wouldn't miss it for anything. We owe them one major ass kickin'.
  22. Hixon and Biggs have good chances to get a free agent look with some NFL team, in my opinion. Who knows, maybe even drafted. How about Rohr? He was my favorite player to watch for the last four years. Lord knows the kids got the intensity. I didn't think Blackburn would catch on, and look what he did with the Giants. Of course good luck to all the players who are working out on Friday!
  23. Am I mistaken, or does Sekinger have to sit out this season because of transfer rules? Either way, he can practice with the team, right?
  24. That maybe true, gozips88, but when your record is 14-4 and you've swept the West, you're gonna have to beat some teams three times come tournement time. It's a nice concern to have.
