Cincinnati can drop off into the Ohio River as far as I am concerned. I will always wish "The Wad" well, but he's too good for that school. Experts are predicting that it will be a decade before the basketball team can get things going again. I hope it takes two. The football team is always pathetic, so I have no worries there. When we give this state the enema that it needs, obviously the tube will be inserted in Cincinnati.

Zips fans have some work to do. No reason those number can't be better in the next few seasons. The new football stadium will certainly help.

Actually, I think msopher may be right about the MAC and the 2.0 thing...I am still sick of hearing about Toledo, however.

I'll be honest, I didn't think the refs were giving the calls to Can't. I thought they were just awful refs. It looked to me like bad calls and bad no-calls each way. Although, we probably got the short end of the stick. Go figure.

While taking nothing for granted, I do notice that the other side of the bracket looks to be really loaded. Can't, Miami, Ohio and Buffalo are all over there. Like I said, I am taking nothing for granted, but it was a nice draw us.

I was a bit worried after things went so poorly up at Buffalo. However, after yesterdays huge comeback, I feel like the Zips are on a roll and maybe they have "big mo" on their side. UA Fan is correct in saying that the Zips don't have a good record in the tourney, nor do they usually play well away from home. Sure seems like a nice time to roll out a 6 or 7 game win streak, though.

I just don't like for people from other schools pimping their schools and kicking on Akron on OUR board. I don't do it on their boards. As far as that MAC board goes, I have no problem with him saying whatever he wants to say over there. That's a MAC blog and it's purpose is to prop your school up and to crack on others. His true feelings were posted over there. That's fine. That's how he feels, and he said on the proper blog. I feel like it's fine for him to come here and say he's a Toledo grad and he's now enrolled at Akron and is learning to like the Zips. If that is really the case, then his posts will be more positive in nature concerning the Zips. We're glad to have you if you want to be one of us. If you don't , then that's ok, too. I just don't want to keep reading about Toledo every single freaking day.

Nah, he talks too much Rocket stuff in here, and I don't mean objectively. The Toledo boards are a good place for him to hang out.

The biggest thing that I understand is that Akron wasn't penalized and Toledo was. Thanks for your time, now to can go back to your little Toledo blog and tell them all how you put us in our places.

Guys like Dials and Linhart are shooters. Shooters have to keep shooting. They have to have the mentality that the next one is going to drop. I had no problem with Dials' poor shooting performance in the first half, because he was taking the right shots. You just keep on shooting , Nick and Nate, that's what you're here to do.

I have never officiated any game in any sport in my life. That being said, I have only my eyes and my general knowledge of the game to go on. I was absolutely amazed at what I thought was the worst officiated college basketball game I have ever attended. (I have been going to the JAR since it was called the PEB.) They missed calls, they made incorrect calls and the interupted the flow of what was a very good and exciting game. I missed the Futch foul that got him ejected, so I don't have an opinion on it, but I wouldn't be surprised if it were erroneous. I can only hope that things are better next weekend. I'd sure like to see the Zips play Can't State again next Saturday night! Go Zips!
