  1. That's a great recipe for declining enrollment and stagnant academics.
  2. University ambassadors... http://kagstv.com/News/KAGSNews/ID/13391/Members-of-the-AM-Corps-of-Cadets-visit-with-senior-citizens-in-Bryan
  3. No more Pitt games http://pittsburgh.cbslocal.com/2015/10/22/pitt-ad-scott-barnes-no-more-road-games-outside-power-five/
  4. FCS is not cost/benefit-effective and we're not moving soccer/hoops/track/etc. to Div. II/III.
  5. Excellent prognosticating. Could he please let us know if we will win our next game?
  6. TB said earlier that TC needs to continue to be prepared to play QB if needed. If Woodson would get hurt we're just a slight bump to the head from having Chapman at the helm again...it could happen. Could he start working on learning WR in his spare time? Sure, why not. It doesn't seem likely he'll be in the mix for QB next year.
  7. Recommend to whom? They would be the ones making the decision. Some disgruntled faculty have spouted off about a lower division but it's FBS or nothing at all.
  8. If UA is destined to be a middling-to-crappy program, it's time to put the football millions to more productive uses.
  9. If the coaches can figure out a way to get to Johnson and don't get conservative on offense, we have an excellent chance. #Blitzkrieg
  10. Was there ever any kind of commique from the athletic dept. to the public about this change? Should there have been?
  11. I would say it boils down to pressure/disruption on Johnson; we will need some stops to win.
  12. I'm sure BG would love for our offense to take its time, not score quickly, and try to run the clock with long, slow, many-play drives that give us plenty of chances to commit penalties, take sacks, and possibly turn the ball over. If they can intimidate us and take us out of our game mentally then we will know who is the better coach. But I don't think that's going to happen. Go Zips!
  13. "The best defense we can have this week is an offense that....scores points,'' Bowden said.
  14. A successful passing game is the only way we would keep them honest and be able to run consistently. Taking that away in the name of ball control will only make us easy to defend against and we won't score the points needed to win. Our defense needs to slow them down as much as possible but they will score some points. Like it or not, it will be a shootout type of game, the only chance we have at beating them.
  15. Congrats. Can someone who watched the game tell me approx. how many catchable balls were dropped by receivers, if any? 3.5 completions per quarter doesn't sound like much against EMU.
  16. Point spread opens at +11.5 at espn.com
  17. They are going to score some points - we need to do the same, at whatever speed we are able to do it. If they get the ball back because we score a quick-drive TD, so be it.
  18. K92 - You're not the jinx. Mediocre pass defense will be the jinx at BG if it doesn't get better.
  19. I think we're wearing down an opposing defense for a change.
  20. I guess we're at least seeing what TB has envisioned for a dual-threat QB offense.
  21. Idk, but it's working for us. Maybe we should consider it for Infocision
  22. Hey....some defense. And special teams! Don't let up...we need a win!
  23. Are these long TD passes to Lane or short passes with long runs?
