Athlon has ASU at #58 preseason....that garners my respect. To me it's a toss up between you and Marshall as to which will be the tougher opponent. Both games will be key for us to possibly match last season's 8 win total.

The B12 should just make a list of the schools they could tolerate as new members and let them bid for spots. Memphis has FedEx corporate money backing, Cincinnati has a $1B+ endowment they can tap, BYU has the Mormon Church, UConn could hit up ESPN....

As I understand it, the new members won't be getting a big revenue boost in the first year(s), it will take several years of graduated increases until they are on par with the others. The B12 could make them accept no revenue or even make them pay a big entry fee and they would still want in to be P5.

New & improved TC for another weapon at QB, double playmakers at WR, OSU running back. Just need OL to come together quickly to score lots of points and defense to bend not break and get some big plays. And avoid a drop-off in kicking/punting.

A couple of Zips swimmers competed at the Olympic trials this weekend as well...that certainly bodes well for the future of the progrum.

It will be a shame if he misses another winning season with the Zips. I hope he's OK.

I don't see Oklahoma on the schedule this year. Toledo and BG have new coaches, BG has a new QB. Zips have a returning starter at QB and bolstered WR corps. Even if the defense is a little weaker, we should be able to score more points to compensate. I don't think any of our opponents will be viewing us as an easy out and I don't think 6 wins would be miraculous.
