I am not a flaming liberal either. Both parties are terrible and don't represent the average person. They only represent two perfectly opposing extremes.

Yep, both were open and shut cases in which radicals committed terrible acts and millions of people were hoodwinked into believing in crazy conspiracies. You must be a sheep. Baaaaaa! I bet you are way too quick to even consider such events as possible, so you immediately dismiss them without considering facts or watching the movie/documentary. If true, it is exactly this kind of mentality and attitude that would allow these things to happen. I am not saying these events happened exactly the way described by others in books/movies in any absolution. However, they are definite possibilities, and there are reasons the real truth is hidden. Single assissins and terrorists can't change parade routes, have the military stand down, have a limo of evidence immediately rebuilt, botch an autopsy, or host war games on the exact same day of the exact same scenario that is happening as part of a terrorist act. A steel and concrete building falling because of fire is completely unprecedented let alone after only "burning" for about an hour. Nor do buildings that are pancaking floors as described by the 9/11 Commission fall at free fall speed and get reduced to pure dust and conveniently short steel pillars. Why were thermal hotspots (via IR satellite) and molten steel found in the basement of the World Trade Centers found a month after the collapse? The list of such things goes on and on. Your faith and trust in people with infinite money and power staggers me.

Mac players in NFL Championship weekend

Dwight Smith won a Super Bowl playing with Tampa. He even had two interception returns for TD's and would have been a likely choice for MVP had it not already been awarded before his second interception return. -
Downright scary, and oh surprise, the Great GP1 is right again. (No sarcasm there either.) I love how FoxNews claims to be "fair and balanced" yet has over a quarter of its air time devoted to Republican/conservative propaganda. FoxRadio is even worse with nearly 24 hours per day of this crap. I don't believe all other media is so liberally biased that such a slant is justified either. Let's be honest though, Democrats are not great either...they just have real leadership in place that aren't a bunch of talking heads. People who follow this stuff in any absolution on either side of the aisle are nothing more than sheep. I love how these guys claim to be upholding moral values through conservative politics and yet someone like Rush has been married four times...talk about protecting the sanctity of marriage. Most of them also claim to see it as their responsibility to "educate" the public on conservative issues yet are high school and college drop outs. Regardless of formal education, a truly educated person seeks out information on their own and makes up their own mind rather than having it all spoon fed to them. Every aspect of this culture fascinates and amazes me. Consider Rush Limbaugh's ~$100 million dollar per year salary. You really don't believe that LifeLock and other small companies pay enough in advertising dollars to support this behemoth, do you? What/who supports the rest of his income? Big business? I honestly don't know, but nothing would surprise me. The back and forth struggle between liberals and conservatives is only meant to distract everyone from asking deeper questions about the government, media, and big business and how they all operate together. Watch JFK or Loose Change if you have your doubts. Donald Sutherland's character in JFK says it all, and 9/11 is our generation's version of JFK.

We are actually overachieving. Ball St. proved to be the better team because they beat us on the field. Yet, we beat them in attendance!

Liking it, but i'm still thinking more badassedness is needed. Badassed? OK. What about "The A-Team"? You can use the old moving 'A' in the logo. Now that is badass! -
Agreed. And when the team struggles, there is not a single player to step-up and put the team on their back. Overall, I don't think it is a lack of talent. I believe the problems have to do with heart and team chemistry. Defense and rebounding are all about heart and effort. There is still plenty of games left to be played this season though. I think we will rally. Besides, if we make the MAC Tournament, those are the only games that really matter anyhow. The other post-season tournaments are nice but the only way to advance the program and earn respect is to win the MACC and play in the NCAA Tournament. We will make the MAC Tournament. Let's see what happens.

Giving up 39 to Miami in a half is the equivalent of 50 against anyone else. Where is our defense? Defense is supposed to be a staple of KD's teams.

It is a sad day when the Sweaters are blowing us out by 15 in the first half. There are some games the Charlie Coles Sweaters don't even score 15 points total in a half...I am thinking back to one of their extremely sloppy games at the Q a year or so ago. Anybody?

I am not spamming, this is legit. www.DMAchoice.org If you sign-up and go through the steps, the service eliminates junk mail from credit cards, insurance companies, catalogs from which you have never purchased anything, etc. I did it and it was really easy. Similar to a do-not-call registry.

One game, look at our overall records and the teams we've each beat and lost to. OU has lost to some terrible teams, I would say the only bad team we've lost to besides Buffalo is Ohio University. We may not have killed the teams we were supposed to kill but at least won. We just haven't upset anyone yet. You could argue that Can't, Miami, and Akron are all better than OU, and the argument is pretty good save for one fluke win that the Bobcats have over us. Are you dillusional? We got worked in that game against OU. We had no answer for Kellogg or their PG.
-
I don't think we are better than Ohio or Can't. I'm not trying to be negative but rather, realistic. Ohio proved it on the court and Can't was without their best player in our house. I hope I am wrong, and only the remainder of the season will tell. Go Zips!

This is why it is being called. I saw something on TV about the crackdown of elbows. If I remember right, the elbow can not be above the shoulder or something like that. Then how does one grab a rebound or shoot or dunk or defend over the head passes or...?
-
I was unable to watch or listen to the UA-Buffalo game today. Nothing stands out as a glaring weakness in the boxscore other than we were outscored. What happened? Was Zeke in foul trouble? Did we not defend well? This loss really hurts in terms of the standings, and I think we will look back on this game as being crucial. Even though we already lost in-conference at home, at least it was to Ohio (potentially the best team in the league). We needed two wins against Buffalo.

If true, that would be amazing!

Here is our new guy! I am impressed. I never knew Notre Dame College (Ohio) had such a good season. http://naia.cstv.com/sports/m-soccer/spec-rel/120610aaa.html "Dec. 6, 2010 KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced the 2010 NAIA Men's Soccer All-America Teams, as selected by the NAIA Men's Soccer All-America Selection Committee. There are three teams in addition to an honorable mention list. Junior forward Luke Holmes of Notre Dame College (Ohio) was honored as the 2010 Brine-NAIA National Player of the Year. The native of Oldham, England earned the American Mideast Conference Player of the Year title. On the year, he led the team with 24 goals and 58 points. He went for five goals and two assists in five National Championship matches in leading the Falcons to a school-record runner-up finish at the tournament. For his efforts in the National Championship, he was tabbed the Most Valuable Player of the Tournament. His goal total is third-most this year in the NAIA and the points mark is No. 3 on the list. So far in his three-year career, Holmes has recorded a school-record 70 career goals and 164 points. The Brine-NAIA Men's Soccer Coach of the Year will be released in mid-January during the NSCAA National Convention in Baltimore, Md."

Is OU this good or are we playing that bad? We need one player to step up when we are struggling and pull us out of these shooting droughts. Isn't that what one of the seniors is supposed to do?

When will players' names be placed on back of jersey? We would be the first collegiate soccer team to do so. What a statement THAT would make! No worries; Ampaipitakwong has exited the program. More importantly, he has graduated.
