i agree baller. while i only watched the first half nicely looked better. boucher made a few throws that were across the body into coverage. now i may have said different if i'd seen the int nicely threw in the 4th. that being said i look forward to the duels these two will have in the future.

watched most of the 1st half and Nicely was the best qb on the field. he looks a little bigger too. Boucher reminded me of the former osu qb Bellisari. great athlete but makes bad decisions.

did anyone go? would love to hear how it went and any inside info!

asked about that during the last open house. the response was no charcoal grills. i also asked about the old softball field and was told no plans were made for that field currently.

no favorite team but i picked psu because i always had a blast on that campus and tailgating is great there

asked about the dorms at the last open house. as of now this is the only dorm to be built. the others are on hold. this is more of a funding issue.

was at an event last week and a member from the ad said rick mcfadden will be the replacement and rick's replacement is in the works.

here's an update on b will with the browns from pultoclick mewhen he first signed with cleveland i was a little surprised. i thought going to a team that has a need at kor would be a better fit but it sounds like he has made a wise choice. i sure hope he makes the team.

quick notes from the spring game1. brown is a beast and will be a match up nightmare for years to come2. jake anderson was getting the reps with the first team o line replacing kemme3. lots of 3-4 yesterday. the d looked very fast4. pleasantly surprised by the secondary. manny looked very good as did carter. the second team played well too with 46 (can't remember his name) and kevin davis standing out5. i really like the lb's! was a little bummed not seeing gilmer but wagner looked good (has a nose for the ball) and thomas and williams look a lot more comfortable6. happy to see devo get a few carries. his talent shows the second he touches the ball7. jac still looked like jac8. rodgers started slow and still makes mistakes but played better in the second half. his touchdown to brown was a thing of beauty. i don't think he'll over take jac this year but he's got better talent. rodgers to brown......looking forward to hearing that next year!9. really thin at teok now for the stadium1. its awesome! 2. they should be rolling out a detailed parking/tailgating plan in the next month. they said their plan is similar to penn state and you can expect some streets to be closed off. meaning one way in, one way out.3. asked about beer...they for sure will have it in the lodge. the vendor is set up to do beer but the university hasn't made up their mind. i'd guess that they'll have it.4. est. completion date......summer (sorry couldn't get a firm date)5. one dorm is under way. the others are tbd.......mentioned that more parking will go in over there too (thinking spicer)6. not only does the stadium have a home and visitor locker room but it has a third set up just for high school teams. this makes it easier to prep for games after a high school game.7. first two levels of the press tower are for classes.8. the sight lines are amazing.that's all i got. it was a great day. well organized and i can't wait for the opener! the stadium looks great and this team should be pretty good

was on gozips.com today and saw that they updated their site for season tickets. not only do they have nice pics and links for each sport but wait for it..............the link to buy tickets actually works! bout time but should help with future sales!

you'd have to guess its only a partial tear as the doctors are saying he'd be back in about 4 mths. nothing to base that on (in martin's case) but a full tear and you're looking at a full year.

spring ball is split up.....they took last week off due to spring break. they start back up monday.

i fall in the middle on this. wknr always does a great job on the tournament but that is the only time of the year you'll hear about akron or the mac. about a week before the tournament began i ran into "munch" and asked why they don't cover the zips? he responded with next week they'll start to cover them. i then asked the question....yeah because you are contracted to do so....why don't you talk about the zips or the mac outside of the tournament? he had no response. i really hope wknr or wknr 2 steps up its coverage of akron sports or the mac in general.
