  1. i find it very interesting that jd hasn't committed to jac yet. every time he's asked a question about jac he always mentions rodgers. it appears that rodgers has more talent but lacks experience. it's a tough call as once you give rodgers the keys there's no turning back. i'll still stick with my prediction that he'll be under center for the cuse game
  2. if he's only going to get 1-5 snaps a game you red shirt him.....i can't see why you'd waste a year on a player with that skill set. the only way i'd let him see the field is if someone gets hurt. it also allows him to get adjusted again after such a tough year personally.
  3. rivals is reporting that russell is heading to morgantown
  4. i too was thinking lb but the depth at rb drops next year with the graduation of dk and johnson. that will leave torrence, allen, and pride. allen will be a sr. next year and could set up a potential torrence pride backfield. at lb the zips recruited pretty hard at lb.....also fleming is projected to grow into the lb spot so they are fine there.here's a follow up question...... with the depth at rb and all that has gone on in this man's life should he red shirt?????? thoughts?

  13. heard he's been working out with antowne height, ryan brinson, and jarvis givens all spring
  14. i am guessing they are referring to j.d. relinquishing the offensive coordinator duties and going to the spread offense. best of luck to sean but if you can't beat out the cj's and you can't pull another d-I scholarship then it was best the two parted ways when they did
  15. today i am now ready for some football!!!!!! re upped my season tickets (08-09 package) and convinced 5 others to do the same. i am pumped and ready for the season to start. only thing left to make up a tailgating menu and arrangements for the cuse game! side note: asked the ticket rep how many of the 5k promotional season tickets have been sold and he said about 75%.....good to hear!

  20. cap one question.....when talking about jac; were you getting the feeling that the people you spoke with were just giving lip service and allowing him every chance to win the job? Or, did you think that they truly believe that he has made that big a stride?

  22. perhaps i misunderstood what "Snack Toads" said to me then........i completely agree though that financially the uw makes more sense.
  23. from what i've heard akron didn't make the decision to drop kentucky. chryst did. both kentucky and wisconsin were ok with akron backing out but cryst made the choice for them with conference scheduling. chryst is an idiot and akron needs to get out of the mac asap. i agree that the big east would make a lot of sense for scheduling unless it's a school like iu.
  24. Given our history, it would be a bathroom stall without a door on it and a Cambodian guy sitting on the toilet.that's got to make the hall.......well played sir!
  25. you are right they don't and can't offer scholarships but they can offer "leadership scholarships" ( proud recipient of one). also they can offer you a job with the school and the hours you work for the school go towards your tuition. if you happen to be an elite athlete some one will always find a way just they way it is...... with that being said i am a graduate of a public school. so i can see the pros and cons of the article.
