Ok ... i see what you all are saying but help me out by answering these questions:1- did we have a running game at all ?2- did we have an O-line ?3- did we have a monster receiver getting open and catching every ball flying around?4- did the refs give us a break ?5- did we have a TD punk return ?My answer is no for all of these questions... so how did we mannage staying in the game till last 2 minutes and scoring 2 TDs ?

Frye is starting material and besides the Interception pass, he did a great job. He rushed and passed behind a horrible OL. Droughns was a joke...a bad one. Northcut dropped a 30 yards pass. Edwards gave away an easy pass to an interception.Jurevicius (did he even play? )All that and we still were close and the game was winnable if only we had any running game at all.The only good things were Frye and Winslow.P.S: I don't get some of these calls, just because KW is big, does that allow the deffenders to beat him up without getting called for illegal contatct?

Buckzip, i understand your frustration with the ABJ... and i know that we all Had great reasons to hate on them... but i think that today's paper (sunday) is a step in the positive direction so i feel that we all should be positive and give them another chance.

I agree with all what you said... There is however, one more missing piece for Akron to be the goal of talented people and that is: "People"The games should be sold out... the RB should always be sold out and so should the JAR be and Soccer and the campus should always be alive and rocking.

I think we had around 60 zips fans, or at least 60 people who had zips gear on.This is my first time at Johnny Malloy and i loved it... great croud and great crew, only if they put some zips posters and flags around.

There is no way PSU will be 7th in big10... they were not bad against us, we were good. Why is that so hard to believe? we were good people !

I attended almost all the home games last year and all the home games this year so far... I hate to say it but the last year's team was waaay better.Until now, we do not have a scorer and the team is strugling in the offense... i had great expectations for Geir Nheym but he has disappointed me so far.A center fielder (play maker) is very very badly needed. our attack seems to always start with Osie michelson (sp?) who by the way is the central deffender kicking a ball all the way from his penalty area to the other penalty area. 9/10 of these balls are lost and only 1/10 is received and controlled by a zips player to make a decent attempt at the goal. Osie has to stop kicking those (all the way balls) and start giving the ball to midfielders to start their attack... may be moving sinisia ubiparipovic to the mid field would help.I hope the coach addresses these issues so that we start scoring more and dominating the game like we should.By the way, Bobby were u the guy in a white zips cap sitting in the first row in the St. Francis game ?

well believe it or not, i am very satisfied with the performance and i believe that we are up to a great and memorable season... I know that we didn't play a perfect game and i know that we can always improve but i am happy and here is why:-Other than Tim Crouch and Jabari Arthur, all the players showed decent effort and talent. And that is 2 out of (30?) players being below the expectations... -A little more work can be done to improve the passing deffense now the positives:-great offensive play calling-Kemme(sp?) is a beast !-Alleman costed us a lot on the penalties but other than that, great game.-Harvey is living up to the hype.-run deffense... oh my god ! who in the mac would be able to run against this defense.-and the best thing of all: Dennis Kennedy, i am telling you that i can't wait to see him ripping the MAC deffenses apart.-TE position is a lock with KAZ and poindexter.-QB is solid, especially when playing against easier Def. Linemen.Put all that together with less penalties in the coming games, and we have good chances to win all the coming games. We probably won't win all of them but we have good chances.

This sounded stupid didn't it ?Ok i will reword:"please everyone, no matter what happens, do not come here after the game and trash players and call for firing coaches...How do you like that zipmeister ?
