My wife just filled me in that apparently there is one, but by doing the 4-yr program you are not eligible for the automatic enrollment into NEOUCOM and would have to apply there for admission after you graduate (or you could go elsewhere for your MD I suppose).

What did not come out in the newspaper article is the likelihood that he wanted to do the BS/MD (NEOUCOM) program which takes students to Akron, Youngstown and Can't for the first two years (in which they complete their undergrad work) and then onto the Rootstown medical school campus to complete their four years of medical school.A daughter of mine, was a NEOUCOM/Akron, student was clearly capable of playing and contributing to the the Lady Zips basketball program could not because of the strenuous load of doing four years in two years. There is no way that you can play basketball or another intercollegiate sports program and do the NEOUCOM thing too.Another daughter walked on at Can't for basketball and found the basketball/academic regime very demanding.My wife also did the BS/MD thing and she had no time for much other than school. Maybe if we had a 4-yr program they could do sports?

Great to hear.... but the last thing our campus needs is MORE buildings... at least thats what I think.Im guessing such expansion would require the university to purchase more properties surrounding the campus...Or replacing some of the old existing buildings with newer, better ones perhaps.

Since we finished 5th in the regular season in 2009, I have to think there are a few teams @ our level. BG comes to mind. OU will be back. Miami had a good recruiting year. K.e.n.t. ... they suck. We were seeded fifth, but finished the regular season tied for third. I think the point was that several teams were very close in talent level (hopefully Zeke is our missing piece to take us up over the top in talent level), so we can't take anything for granted, especially in a one-bid league. I think our main threat is still going to be Buffalo, they return quite a few players and most of their inside game. Ohio is very much an unknown, they are going to be young this year, same for Miami and BG (I am looking forward to Zeke matching up against Otis Polk). Guess that leaves Can't for the three spot. I'll rank them this way.1. Zips2. Buffalo3. Can't4. Miami5. BGSU6. Ohio7. Everybody in the WestOtis is a tree and I expect they will plant him in the key... Zeke should have no problem going over him though!

I was also at the game (E side gen admin near 40) and all I can say is the acoustics are so bad I could hardly hear the band when they were playing from their seats. It was a better at halftime, but the sound still didn't get up to us much (I know, partly because they face the W side). The old RB was all concrete except the turf with both ends having concrete to reflect off; the new stadium has only the N endzone bldg. I don't expect it will improve until the new dorm get built on the S end or it gets expanded to a larger capacity. I wonder how much of the sound is just getting trapped under the upper deck?

I believe that is similar to what Cuy. Falls entrance is.FWIW, I can recall doing a corner entrance at Firestone HS for a halftime (director is now director at Can't). It was kinda cool.While I appreciate corps style bands and have been to DCI shows, I personally don't care for them at football games.

If it was, then they did it this afternoon after I left because I was parked right next to it in the morning. They did tame the jungle that the lawn had grown into earlier this week. I believe attendance would go up; 30-45k... not sure. Maybe 25k consistently with 45k possible for games against Cincy and Pitt.
