yes... this was something I noticed a while ago and have been pondering. I can't understand them spending $65million on this stadium only to use aluminum stands.If you want an idea of how the structure will end up, look at the underneath of of UCF's Brighthouse Stadium. It's the same construction technology they are using for our upper decks. UCF Brighthouse StadiumWas just there in November; big, but pretty bland (sorry to my son who's in the marching band there) with just a sea of aluminum; no flags or anything to spruce it up. Even the concessions below were just monochrome cinderblock buildings. The fans enjoyed stomping on the bleachers to make noise and completing the announcer's phrases ("Good enough for another UCF..." "FIRST DOWN"). With all the lightning they get in FL, I had to wonder what would happen there in a storm.I like that we have brick and glass on the press box and the blue painted beams to add some charachter. I also hope we get the conference flags and such that were shown in the renderings.

Good point. Another thought is that there are so many teams that make post season play now, that it's almost like extending the season for all teams so it may not be a huge advantage. I agree though that the more rounds they would play, the more experience for next year (assuming mostly underclassmen are playing).

I had no idea they were div 2 then. The mens teams were in the OVC (1-AA), so I figured the women were also. Guess that means the competition is better now (or should be) which partly explains their drop-off in records.

With most of the OL back, the running game shouldn't be a problem, nor should protecting the QB. I'd agree, I'm more interested in what improvement will be made on defense.
