  1. And our frozen buttocks. Are we having any luck with the video stream on ZipsZone? it doesn't have sound and 1350 am has a lessor priority game on. http://www.gozips.com/newMediaPlayer/conso...0&id=409352
  2. why isn't this game on the radio? UA soccer should be a higher priority
  3. Attendance was so low, I wonder what the Football team makes compared to the soccer team. I understand that football brings in more on ticket sales, but it costs a lot more money to run the Info than it does for a soccer game at Lee Jackson. Do they release this data? and where could I go to find it?
  4. they should use that extra $8million to hire a real head coach for the football team and make iCan'tcoach an assistant
  5. here's a link from gozips http://www.gozips.com/newMediaPlayer/conso...=&id=408865
  6. ATTENDANCE: 5,216 I remember saying earlier in the season that the soccer team could beat the football team in attendance, there's the magic number.
  7. You're not going to win a lot of ball games with only 51 points. Our guards can't make free throws, how do we expect them to make 3's?
  8. The zone wasn't the problem today. It was the guards on the offensive end. They looked slow and sloppy.
  9. it's a good thing we're in the MAC, this team is not NCAA tournament material
  10. the camera guy is a creeper lol
  11. http://channelsurfing.net/watch-ncaa-college-sports.php?w=22
  12. I like the video response to this http://espn.go.com/video/clip?id=5846737
  13. does Can't State have a boards we can post on? I say we disguise ourselves as Can't fans on there and talk about wanting to steal iCan't from Akron.
  14. how much? I am thinking about taking my 5yr old to another game this year.
  15. Maybe TW, but would cost too much to fire RI, whether he ruins the program or not. We have to accept that.
  16. Recruiting a good quarterback has to be priority number one for RI, Nicely just doesn't cut it!!!
  17. pass coverage is soooooooooooooooooooooo bad!!!!!!!!
  18. not sure if this has been posted already but for anyone just looking at this, just found the game on http://channelsurfing.net
  19. Alexa rankings aren't bad for Zipsnation. I've noticed it drop a lot from August.
  20. same, it comes on now and then, annoying.
  21. the link http://www.horizonleaguenetwork.tv/live/1271 was listening to the football game until you mentioned this. Could care less what the football team does at this point.
  22. Similar one from the NCAA web site. Highlights the Zips in a few places: Linke currently holds a variety of jobs, but his current one with Fox Soccer Channel brings him to different college locations all over the country to broadcast some of the best games in Men's college soccer. A little over a month ago, Linke and broadcast partner Keith Tabatznik traveled to Ohio to see Tulsa face Akron for a match of the top two schools in the country. "It was electric," Linke said, "1,500 people were there an hour before the game." The Zips won 4-0, and from start to finish, the crowd was always involved. Linke saw fans of all ages, including grandparents, jumping, shouting, and cheering for the Zips, but regardless of location, it has been the same story everywhere. The partnership has brought television cameras to some of the best soccer schools in the country like Akron, Maryland, UCSB, and UConn. These four schools also make up the top four teams in the country in terms of attendance. Both links are great finds. Another example of US soccer popularity growing. I look forward to seeing Akron averaging over 4k per game.
  23. Your statement is the dumbest thing I've heard. If you look at soccer's popularity over the past 10 years, you would see strong growth. The thing to look at here is that MLS is growing, whether it's bigger than NHL, or the NBA. Soccer is the biggest sport in the world and makes more money than the NFL, NBA, NHL, and MLB combined
