Abdul-Salaam adds a much needed height advantage for offensive and defensive set pieces.

The selection committee doesn't have to follow the RPI for seeding and we've earned a lot of respect with our scheduling. Although Western Michigan's RPI is currently 112, their winning percentage will improve our SOS. It would help if we play Western Michigan and West Virginia in the MAC tournament.

the MAC went 0-3 to OOC teams on Wednesday, this has been an awful year for MAC soccer.

The Beacon states that Akron signed him to a 3 year contract with a base salary of $175k per year. After bonuses, he'll probably make over $200k a year. Not bad for a college soccer coach.
