If this were Akron's football team, the ball would've bounced off that backboard, defied physics, and landed inside Michigan's hoop (to contrast the difference in luck).

Ohio and Michigan going to OT after Ohio, down 2 with 2.1 seconds left, threw a full court pass off the backboard that bounced straight to their player who missed the layup but another Ohio player followed it up. Unreal.

Easy, Noel. One team was gifted a goal to start the match. Not saying Akron shouldn't have been more disciplined and mentally tough, but claiming emotional superiority on the back of that officiating is pretty empty.

Simple solution for the refs: be better. This happens in every sport. Working the refs is gamesmanship. If the ref(s) can't handle it, don't officiate.

Talent wise, yes. They need to become stronger mentally, though. The officiating was awful, but after the 1st PK (like I said, one of the worst calls in the history of sport), nothing changed in our intensity.

EMU & Oakland headed to OT. UPDATE: Oakland wins by 2 in OT. Howard is up by 5 on Buffalo with 3 minutes to play. UPDATE: Howard wins by 2. Portage County School of Music beat Chicago State by 29. St. Bonnie beat BUGS by 13.

Clown conference. The storm was known about for a week, and to not have a contingency plan in place by mid week to get this game in is inexcusable.
