A huge key, in addition to the excellent points mentioned above, we have to match or exceed KSUcks' intensity from the get go. They are an emotional team and have set the tone in both games so far this year. Not having Trimble deflate both the ball on the rim and the emotion from the team with his missed shots and lack of defensive effort, should really aid in that endeavor.
"F #4" as eloquently stated in that KSUcks trash video may come back and bite them in the arse.
Speaking of that video, I saw some replies to it. Someone tagged Ali directly and said he was called out by name. Ali is one of our most emotional players. Really hope the video and inevitable trash talk doesn't go to his head. We need a smart, controlled game from him.
X has to make shots. I think 15 pts from him is the minimum sweet spot. He has become quite the PG down the stretch. Fun to watch.
Wynn has been our secret weapon. Instead of turning to Aziz, we've gone smaller with Wynn. He has been effective on the boards, and his athleticism has allowed us to match up well against more athletic teams. If he plays smart and hard like he has been, that would be huge.
