Toledo pulls away late, tops a previously undefeated Charlotte team 98-86.
Charlotte's 3 wins come against Monmouth, USC Upstate, and App State. They also beat Georgia in a preseason exhibition, 76-65.
I'm simply excited to see this team play DI competition again.
Quisenberry is a solid player. The same defensive effort we saw against OSUcks should help contain him, however.
I'm interested to see how the offensive game plan in this game compares to the OSUcks game as well. Do we look to consistently pound the paint again, or will be it be Jesus Take the Wheel from behind the arc?
A thread that bashes China AND LeBum? Let me add KENT STATE SUCKS for the trifecta and perfect thread (minus the reason for the thread being the embarrassing butt-whooping).
This new coaching search is the most important one in program history. The ever-changing college football landscape has us teetering on the edge of total irrelevancy, with our only current relevance being a weekly participant in ESPN's Bottom Ten (thanks to our FBS level; total irrelevancy is dropping to FCS).
In no legitimate world should KSUcks ever beat us this badly.
The human in me feels for him struggling to start the season after losing his dad not too long ago.
The Akron fan in me is watching Enfield(?) take his #25 ranked USC Trojans back to his roots at Florida Gulf Coast for an away game, while Duquesne has yet to show up on an Akron schedule. I repeat my post above: thank goodness we have Groce.
Side note: didn't realize TVD (Dunn-Martin) ended up at FGCU. Good for him.
