I am guessing O-Who will be top 50 and the Zips will be top 70. No other MAC school will be above either team. Can't State might be top 80 or 90, but that's the next closest. I think by the end of the season, though, the Zips will be the best MAC team, finishing probably around the 40 or 50 mark. I'm expecting a big season.

Watching that Kenmore tape and that Can't Roosevelt tape is painful. Some of the highlights are against Norton, my high school. Norton also has a WR, Matt McGlone. I believe he is around 6'5. Long body with a decent build. He is getting recruited by Duke, Michigan State, Harvard, etc. However, that is more for his grades. 4.2 or something like that GPA. He was the no. 1 WR in DIII, though. I also know one of the Can't State coaches came to our school to talk to him this past year. Coventry has a running back, Dillon Headrick, who is getting some big looks, too. Michigan, Texas, etc. He is around 6' I believe, he benches 285-295, squats around 500; very powerful back. He put up around 5 touchdowns on Norton if I remember correctly. Very good speed with a massive frame. Great kid, too. Good friends with him. Akron should look at offering these guys.

He was a 4 star recruit in high school. 6'8" 225 lbs. Not bad. Should be interesting to see what he can do on the court if he keeps his nose clean.

Private schools can recruit.

I like the expansion, not that it will really help my high school anytime soon (1-9 record despite having the no. 1 DIII QB and no. 1 and 3 WRs). However, if the OHSAA really wanted to help high school sports, they would make a separate division for private schools. This isn't football related, but my high school was one of the better DII teams for basketball this year. We have 2 6'7+ guys, a 6'4 guy (the no. 1 WR), and a 6'+ guy in our starting lineup. I think we only lost 1 or 2 games all year. Norton ended up having to play St. V in the sectional finals or semi-finals. Only bout 7 guys deep, Norton took St. V down to the wire. This shot sent the game into . We ended up losing in OT. There was a chance Norton could have made further than just sectionals, but we will never get a chance to find out because private schools are mixed in. For football last year, I believe a local school, Wadsworth, lost to St. Ignatius from Cleveland in the state playoffs, or a private school like them. They were undefeated until that point. I like the expansion, but a private school division; that's what really needs to be done.

What a phenomenal hire... for the rest of the MAC. Christian is going to run half of the current players and recruits out of town. Cooper is pissed, they already lost a commit, and I can't imagine the rest of the team is happy. Not to mention the fact that he had a lot of off the court issues at Can't. That would be smart moves by all 3 schools. Creighton should stay in their conference.

This picture is for men's tennis teams from colleges in the area (sorta). Akron doesn't have a men's team. I don't see a problem with that. Maybe they should throw up a women's poster, but there's no men's poster to put up.

Final Four talk? They still have to get past UNC to get into the Elite 8. I hate their success. They are almost as worse as Can't State, and I can't root for them to have success. Please, UNC, for the love of everything that is right and good in this world, kick the Bobkittens to the curb.

I know for a fact they were terribly bummed. Did you see the UNC contingent during that Lehigh game? They almost out numbered the Duke fans. It was impressive.

Nationally: With the schedule that we already have figured out, especially home schedule, I expect us to be in the top 25 at some point, if not RIGHT on the edge of cracking it. I think at-large hopes are a possibility. MAC: I also think we should take care of business in the MAC. If Groce leaves, so will some of his players (or at least I can pray for that to happen), leaving the MAC open for the Zips to just man-handle. The Flushes are done. They graduated their team this year. They have some decent freshman, but I think we will sweep them again. Toledo and BGSU will also be in contention to beat us, but I think we stand alone at the top of the MAC. Maybe 1 or 2 losses in conference. Domination. Play Style: Fast paced. Run our opponent to death. I'm looking for more movement off the ball, along with a lot of back cuts for slams. Defensively, I'm looking for more zone to keep our big men closer to the rim, AKA Rejection City. Man to man will be used the most, as always. Goal: NCAA tournament win. That has to be the goal, if not more than that. I think we will have as much talent as any mid major next year, and should look to compete with the best of them. I'm excited. This season next season is going to be a fun one, especially following a hopefully great fall sports season with football and soccer. Go Zips!

ADAPTATION Totally new style of play for KD and Zips fans. Faster paced, up and down the court. It was exciting to watch, but definitely needs improvement. Can't wait until 2012-2013.

The Puerto Rico tournament? Yes, I believe so. Not 100% sure though.

Cinderella? No. Last time I checked, they beat Georgetown and then lost to Tennessee. I thought Cinderellas went into the Sweet 16, or Elite 8 before earning that title?
