I take issue with it when your next game vs a DI team looks like you thought you could sleep-walk through it like the DIII game.
People complain about not playing any marquee P6 teams, but the real problem in the schedule is not making sure every game December on is DI level competition. I don't care about winning every game as much as I do making sure you're up for every game.
Viewing experience is nice - crisp image, great camera angles, etc. No score ribbon is infuriating though.
Also, we look like we haven't played a DI game in 2 weeks. Forgive me for beating a dead horse, but screw non DI games.
The MAC is so bad.
Toledo lost to YSU.
Ohio lost to Marshall.
Balls did their job and near Bellarmine.
Valpo whooped on CMU.
Don't worry though. Steinbrecher is probably gonna write a strongly worded essay against court storming while the MAC continues to plummet competitively.
They allow fans behind the goal during PKs now?! What the hell?! The Rowdies/Akron fans had to stand on either side of the goal during the 2009 and 2010 runs.
UTEP/Jackson State. We don't know who that opponent will be yet.
This will be THE stretch run for the season to see what we truly are before March IMO. If they can show well during this stretch, look for the 2nd Sun Belt game to be the marquee matchup as we'll be the coveted team from the MAC. Milwaukee will be a solid start that I wasn't fully expecting.
Travis Hunter won the Biletnikoff Award for best WR.
Meanwhile, San Jose State's Nick Nash was the WR Triple Crown King this year leading the nation in Receptions, Receiving Yards, and Receiving Touchdowns.
College Football delivered the proverbial "nail in the coffin" message to G5s with their awards: they don't want G5s anymore.
According to 247, he had 2 offers - Kent and Eastern Kentucky. So often in Ohio these types of accolades don't yield much FBS-level interest. I'm sure he made the right choice as Kenni Burns and his staff have a track record of coaching up their players...
Just wait until they start saying God declined the offer for them.
"I was very blessed to receive an offer from (insert school), but God has other intentions for me. Recruiting is still open. #Blessed"
