I'm mainly disappointed the biggest game of the year - KSUcks - is going to be played on a Wednesday night.

I say throw everything we have at them and see if they can adjust and, if so, how. Really, these teams and coaches already know each other so well I think it's simply going to come down to execution. However, if Sammy's come alive that definitely makes us a different looking team than the first time we faced them. Is Santiago back for them?

No worries. It looks like our final FOUR games could possibly be mid-week. I'm sure there's no way they'd do that. November Tuesday night games are "Friends & Family" affairs. 🤬🤬🤮

So it looks like, save BUGS & the Bulls, our other MAC East games may all be on weekday nights? If I'm reading that correctly it would be impossible to emphasize how hard that would suck.

I mentioned (in another thread?) how I was surprised Jacqai was ranked so high nationally as he is. He's really not very good. At all. Teams didn't have to fear what Jacqai could do at all last year and could stuff the box trying in vain (mostly) to stop Lamar Sperling. Jacqai has a nice arm but doesn't seem to be able to read defenses well. Coach Terrell rarely even tried to throw downfield last year (and Hoban always has a handful of great athletes playing WR).

Apparently an assistant coach from Hoban called someone from STVM a "meanie-head," which, of course, is enough of an offense to cancel the game. Words are violence, after all.

Also out of Likes 😂 I really hope Dawson bounces back strong from his achilles injury. We'll see 🤞 I'm picking Kobe to transfer out, leaving us an opening, which I think we'll once again fill with a grad transfer shooting guard, as the three point shooting on this team could be questionable after the departure of X. I think Tavari is going to be an absolutely killer PG who will continue our tradition of having elite PG play. I love seeing Nate's confidence grow. He's doing a great job now of picking his spots. Another off season & I'll bet he's ready to let it fly.

If we're being honest, Friday's game in Kent is going to be a tough one to win, so it's imperative we beat Balls on Tuesday night to lock in either a 2nd or 3rd seed. If we were to, heaven forbid, lose both games we'd be the 4 seed & almost certainly have play Ohio in the quarters and Toledo in the semi's. That's the toughest path to take to the MACC.
