OT, but I happened upon this tweet. Apparently CSU is playing in the Horizon League championship game tonight. When they had better teams and our rivalry was pretty intense I used to loathe CSU. Now I'm basically 🤷‍♂️ 1. How awful is the Horizon League? I don't follow but it must be bad, no? 2. I still wish they didn't refuse to schedule us, as it was a good, regional rivalry. Same with YSU (I don't think YSU refuses to schedule us like CSU).

The bleachers have either been free (or roped off during COVID 🙄) every time I've been to a game.

Did the ABJ place that on the front page?!? 🤬 Yeah, it's an allegation which was investigated & didn't find anything. Article didn't say who made the allegation or what it was. Whatever it was, it obviously wasn't serious enough to cause coach Jackson to miss any time on the sideline. It's bad publicity for UA, which causes the ABJ to salivate. 🙄🤬

I'm mainly disappointed the biggest game of the year - KSUcks - is going to be played on a Wednesday night.

I say throw everything we have at them and see if they can adjust and, if so, how. Really, these teams and coaches already know each other so well I think it's simply going to come down to execution. However, if Sammy's come alive that definitely makes us a different looking team than the first time we faced them. Is Santiago back for them?

No worries. It looks like our final FOUR games could possibly be mid-week. I'm sure there's no way they'd do that. November Tuesday night games are "Friends & Family" affairs. 🤬🤬🤮

Aren't KSUcks and Ohio potential mid-week home games?

So it looks like, save BUGS & the Bulls, our other MAC East games may all be on weekday nights? If I'm reading that correctly it would be impossible to emphasize how hard that would suck.

I mentioned (in another thread?) how I was surprised Jacqai was ranked so high nationally as he is. He's really not very good. At all. Teams didn't have to fear what Jacqai could do at all last year and could stuff the box trying in vain (mostly) to stop Lamar Sperling. Jacqai has a nice arm but doesn't seem to be able to read defenses well. Coach Terrell rarely even tried to throw downfield last year (and Hoban always has a handful of great athletes playing WR).
