Both Toledo & KSUcks have beaten us to the punch on junior RB Caleb Jones. Jones was Lamar's backup this year. He's VERY good. If he wasn't stuck behind Ohio's Mr. Football he'd have been one of the top RB's in the state. Watch for this dude to blow up next season.

Still have my fingers crossed on getting two more verbal commits to sign on the dotted line: OL Maurice Long & LB Joshua Bowen Bowen is the 6-3 stud LB from Florida that may have been our first commit of the year (IIRC). Maurice Long is an OL who was recently selected to play for the South in the Ohio North-South All-Star Game.

So Terrence Thomas signed with Purdue as a RB? He's an explosive offensive player. Maybe our tweet listing him as a Safety is a typo? @LZIp

Why will they need to be re-offered?

I guess I'll post this article here. It could have gone in a number of different threads. The article talks about how Early Signing Day (December 21st) and the Transfer Portal have taken much of the luster off of the traditional Signing Day which has (always?) been on the first Wednesday of February. One enlightening quote, concerning the impact of the Transfer Portal, from former Zips RB and current Buchtel HC Bryan Williams: “You've got to tell your players, 'If you get an offer and you feel as though that that's the school where you want to be, hey, man, you've got to commit to that school because that offer may not be there.' You got it probably in December, and, in January, it may not be there because they've got a guy that they may pull from the portal. So you have to be strategic.”

Wait a minute. That dude calls us angry? 🤨

On Post #1 I've listed OL Ben Frank as a scholarship player and Aiden Diaz and Langston Ragland as PWO's, though Langston's post is the only one which specifies him as a PWO.

That block at 0:18 may be the best highlight I've ever seen! 🤣🤣🤣 That was against Barberton 😭😭 Drew Holt was a great HS OL but is definitely a walk-on at the college FBS level.

You guys were still great! It just doesn't look as intimidating when the section has a large swath of blue seats in the center. But you guys who were there were fantastic! Thank you! The players love it and it really adds to the atmosphere of the game day experience for everyone in attendance. I had another question, what was with so many of the Rowdies wearing red yesterday? What was the theme?
