  1. Crap. Now I have to watch more. 13-7 BG.
  2. This is the worst football game I've ever seen. I might just watch this for the comedy factor. A mediocre FCS team could beat BG and OU. We're FAR beneath that.
  3. Burned another timeout. It'd be one thing if we just had a talent deficit. Impossible to overcome that and inept coaching. And a pick from Kato. There is zero talent on this roster outside of Irons and Arslanian.
  4. So once we get blown out by 50 by the team that was supposed to be the worst in the league, you have to fire the coach. Right?
  5. Same. Hate when mowing the lawn is more appealing than watching my alma mater.
  6. Wasted timeout on a field goal because of incorrect personnel on the field. Poor coaching, no talent. I'm everything bit as pessimistic about this program as I was during the Rob "Rocknes Menu Pants" Ianello years.
  7. Took a break from yard work to watch some of this game. I'll go ahead and go back outside. This team is every bit as bad as Rob Ianello squads. Pretty remarkable to miss so bad on 2 coaches.
  8. I posted this mostly because the first paragraph made me L-O-L. Gotta laugh so we don't cry, right? As a Browns fan, at least I (finally) have that. And to think, the Zips had 26 years of Browns absence and ineptitude to build the winner NEOH was desperate for. Oh well.
  9. This team will finish 1-11. They will get blown out several times in the MAC. Unacceptable in year 3. Question is what are the repercussions, if any?
  10. I mean, other than the checks being cut during weeks 1-4, it already is that way. The "non-conference" schedule has morphed into the "preseason schedule." All we're waiting on now is for the "haves" to formalize it. And if these super conferences are finalized before the CFP expands to 8+ teams, we can probably kiss goodbye any opportunity for G5 teams to gain access. Would be cool if FBS pulled off some sort of relegation system like European professional soccer, but the odds of that are probably worse than mine are for winning the Powerball jackpot tomorrow.
  11. There goes our winnable game. Edit: they were 30.5 point underdogs!
  12. We played Tennessee close for a half during Bowden's first season before getting outscored 24-3 in the 2nd half. I remember because I was RIDICULOUSLY excited for our prospects in future seasons. Since then, Tennessee has won 5, 5, 7, 9, 9, 4, 5, 8, and 3 games. They were awful last year and have already lost to Pitt (who was beaten by Western) this year. It's still unlikely, but this is a winnable game and a decent add to the schedule on short notice. P.S: It's a 7.5 hour drive from Akron to Knoxville, so I'm gonna have to think about this one
  13. Michigan. Closer than we played Michigan.
  14. I'll take it but....name another team besides Bryant that that play will work against.
  15. Is it me or is it getting Gardner-Webb-ey in here?
  16. The staff is in over their heads every bit as much as Ianello's crew. I'll always support UA, but today was the last time I'll be spending any money on football until somebody fixes this mess. Absolutely abysmal.
  17. Auburn is "down" this year, picket 5th in the SEC West or worse by most pundits. If this team is going to win a couple games, it sure didn't look like it last night. I think we lose to Temple by 3+ TDs.
  18. I understand we lost our star PG but outside of OSU, that's an AWFUL schedule. Same as any other year: win the MAC Tournament.
  19. Yeah...this is the kind of tournament that the previous coaching staff would've caught hell on here for booking. A very mediocre group of teams. That being said...
  20. Saw a mock draft that has him going 37th to Detroit. Can't find the link right now. He's talented, no doubt, but I just don't get it. I feel like I've seen at least a half-dozen better players in my 20 years watching MAC basketball. Good luck to him, I hope he succeeds. As they say, "A rising tide lifts all boats."
