Audio was OK for me. Conference didn't tell much that hasn't been on these boards. I got on about halfway through JD announcing the class, and then heard the press questions. JD refused to discuss and de-commits. I guess we'll just have to see what the class looks like when it's posted on gozips.com in, oh....2 days?

On the right side of the gozips.com home page you'll see the zipszone link. Click the tab that says "free." It lists a bunch of basketball features. Click one of those and it'll open a new window. When that opens, you'll see the press conference link available under the "live" tab on the new page.

Click on one of the other free listings, when that loads, click the free tab. it's up there.

Comcast is actually a now time-warner owned entity, not unlike adelphia. In the past Time Warner has picked up the comcast broadcasts and played them on twc 23/79. I was in contact with TW folks in Cleveland and Akron and no one seems to know if the game will be picked up. The advice I got was "check channel 23 and 79 around 7pm." Brilliant! Looks like it's pay for online, or a little 1350 action.

Wow, this kinda makes me hope we DO get Mason. It'd be nice to stomp them in the JAR. I find them to be quite similar to K-e-n-t. Obnoxious as hell because of one good run in the tourney and a couple autobid-first round exits. At least GMs run wasnt 6 years ago...

Really? What side are you on? Should Quade have jumped in there? Probably not, but all he sees is his 6' guard being shoved by 6'10" K-e-n-t center. Quade is defending his teammate (probably not his place, but i digress...). Players will always stand up for their teammates in that situation...right or wrong. And the Flush fans tossing stuff onto the court, at zips fans, and at fellow flush fans...ABSOLUTELY INEXCUSABLE. Top it of with that same P.O.S. center sticking his tongue out and talking s**t during post game handshakes...give me a break. Yeah, we deserved to lose this game. We couldnt adjust in the second half, but DO NOT make excuses for that BS. I wont say everyone, but the vast majority of those involved with that school lack any sort of class. That's those both on and off the court. Don't forget last year where the only chant their students could get together was "F**K YOU, AKRON clap clap, clap-clap-clap." We'll get em march 9th....to clinch the 1 spot.

Dont I recall chatter last year about that cinci game being moved from the rubber bowl down to cinci for next year? This would put us at our quota of one home game before the middle of october.

You can use ticketmaster...leave em at will call. That's what I did. I believe only lower seats are reserved in the MACC.

If the zips have a similar season as last year and dont win the mac tourney, i would virtually guarantee an NIT bid because of the snub press from last year. Nearly every sports outlet covered the zips' snub, and if by chance we were eliminated in the finals again, that talk would start right back up. But how 'bout we just win the tourney and be done with it?
