Line opens at Akron (-3). I'm somewhat surprised, not really though with the advertisement that jwood is back.

If all we could do is get the people who sit down in the lower bowl as long as the upper to get loud when we need it, we'd have a pretty darn good atmosphere. That's all I'm saying.Amen to this, 88. Or at least get them to show up to every game. I wish akron would set up a ticket exchange program like some schools have, just to get butts in the seats in those lower bowls. i understand those are the "money" seats, but we need voices and hands, not a pile of cash sitting silently.

Madison being my alma mater I want to see them bring back another sectional banner but I'm sure Riverside and Sullivan have something to say about this. This was the match up last year that knocked us out. Madison has quite a few big guys (Heidenreich, Dilillo, Monty, Cramb, Janz) so it would be interesting to see how well he takes it in there with some 6'7 and 6'5's in there. But watching Alex play for the past 3 years he'll just do what he has to do to keep his team in the game and get his team mates involved. And knowing Coach Moran and Staley they'll make sure that Sullivan gets contested on every shot and that Krotz or some one else is banging him around. But it should be a good gameGO BEAVERS!

A friend and I were toying with the idea of getting a football-style tailgate together in the East Parking deck, seeing as none of the bars will be open prior to the game. It would be a precursor of sorts of the Akron sports world P.R.B (Post rubber bowl). Any takers?

That's what these guys are supposed to be in coaching for to begin with, right - to help mold and develop the next generation's young men. Go David Harvey! Even if you never suit up for the Zips again, we're all pulling for you to get your degree!I spoke with Harvey a few weeks back and he told me that his grades were all in order and that he would be on the field with the Zips next year for sure. he just had alot going on in his life last year and it interfered with his academics.By "next year" do you mean 2009?

For everyones information...Called cleats, winking lizard, bw3 and pints. They all are "not having the game on" or are "not sure" if it'll be on. Great planning here...hopefully twc puts it on 23...if not i'll be chillin with the radio and frenchy.
