I can't wait to see it in the stadium where you'll actually be able to hear all of it "field house accustics kinda suck" still some things that need worked out in it but I'm sure you all agree and have already addressed it. but overall the music and everything is a far better product that it was in my days. (I might have some more days in the future who knows)

further more what you display is a classic case of insecurity (I'm a music student so psych isn't exactly my best subject but it's still obvious to even me) you come onto a forum from another school and actively look for a thread that talks about yours. I know you had to look for this thing because it had been a while since this one was hit on. as a matter of fact the reason I read your initial post was because this thread popped back up in the active topics and I thought "wow back from the dead I wonder what’s going on" but anyways after spending good time on another schools site looking for something talking about you. you eventually not only find it but also start commenting on it on a religious basis. you sir are insecure about something. Yup. That was a very misleading statement from your brother. Miami doesn't even have a college of engineering. They only offer certain degrees in some sort of paper engineering that you mentioned. The reality is that BG and Can't don't have a college of Engineering, and OU's COE is practically non-existent(as you pointed out). I'm sure 90 million will certainly help their cause, but they still will have a LOT of catching up to do.Frankly, the only Ohio MAC schools that have Engineering that are worth a damn would be Akron and Toledo.That's just absolutely hilarious. 1,600 undergraduates in the Ohio COE and 290 graduate students. 79 faculty members (full time) -- Akron has 64.Job placement rate in the top 89% among schools nationally.Those numbers of undergraduates and graduate students just kinda makes the statement "never see any" even more sad for you. there are all these students yet non of them seem to make it outside of college. I'm sure their are a few but face it if other top COE's haven't heard of you and actual engineers themselves haven't heard of you then there’s probably something wrong that you'll need far more than 90mill to fix

and that is where schools of our level always lose it. we don't have the same debth as all the other "big name" schools and it is exactly why you will see us hanging with them for the first half and then fall off the face of the earth

maybe I'm missing something but aren't they suppose to be contenders for the national title? I haven't been following this all as closely as I should so I would love to find out that I"m wrong if someone wants to prove me wrong I would be more than happy to listen and believe them

I'm interested to see how you guys plan on getting on the field for pregameI'm kind of hoping you guys split into two lines and march down both sets of steps to the field. It would be kind of unique.I was actually also thinking down the lines of a Cincinati type entrance. from what I hear they also come down their steps. only thing is you would have to find steps close enough so that you don't split the band up too much and get a lot of fade going on and people then start marching to two different times. it's a tough situation but I'm sure Mr. K and the fine folks in the school can figure it out. (I still like the idea of repeling from the goodyear blimp but thats just me)

ok since I was one of the people who pointed out the lack of support for the band I feel the need to point out when the band does get support. and they have got it in a BIG WAY!!16 new sousaphones12 new baritones12 new mellophonesANDan entirely new drumline harnesses and allthats about 54 new instruments and A LOT OF $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$my hats off to whoever made this happen now the band needs to make sure they put these to good use. if not I know that atleast one baritone might go missing
