    Tonight's game had a weird feel to it. We never could really pull away with it, but even still, it never felt like it was in doubt. They had no answer for Big Dog. I feel like I type that every game. Lots of Zip fans there, maybe the most on a Friday, at least form what I can remember. Fun atmosphere. Gonna have to do a better job on the boards tomorrow night to get to the Dance.

    Lunardi's bracketology from yesterday has us as a 12 seed in Denver against Iowa State. Which isn't really too remarkable, but they also have Iowa playing in Denver. We'd have a lot of Zip fans out there for a day

    Another factor is that Monmouth is done. For us to be in the at large discussion, that's most likely adding another 100+ loss and dropping us further into the 30s in the RPI. There's a reason there's no Akron at-large discussion outside of this board.

    Malik passed Julius McCoy a couple weeks ago for the Farrell scoring record. Julius was an All American at Michigan State. I haven't heard much on his recruitment this year.

    Seriously? I've made it clear that the committee values their top 50 wins more. We barely have top 100 wins. Do I agree with it? Not sure, but it is what it is.

    I've spelled it out. No one on the committee gives a flying **** that our RPI is higher because we beat up on MAC teams while they beat up on MAAC teams. Their conference schedule sucks, ours sucks too, just a little less. That doesn't mean our resume is better, just that we gamed the system a little better. It's why they don't really look at RPI anymore

    Didn't realize the MVC tourney was in the early week. Lunardi has us as a 12, we're close. Let's win the MAC first!

    Looks like we need Northern Iowa and Little Rock to drop one in their tourneys to move up to the 12 spot.
