Blah. A win at Can't could be just what the doctor ordered. Hopefully they pull it off and think about that for a week and not a 3 game losing streak. As is, they need to win one game to get to their 6th straight conference championship. I can't get too down yet.

Updated. Still hanging at 59, and winning the next 3 would probably get us a top 50 spot. At-large is very unlikely at this point but that could put us in the high 40's if we win the MAC tourney as well. Hopefully that would get us closer to an 11 or 12 seed than a 13 or 14.

I agree with the premise that someone could/will get hot like the Zips have recently, but Can't isn't going to be that team. 3 losses in a row now, definitely slumping at the wrong time. I could see OU making a run, which makes it important to squash that tonight before it can get started.

Morrison gave Walsh a pretty good shove when he got a rebound with about 20 seconds left. That is definitely was irritated our guys. Walsh followed him down the court and stole it.

I think the (well one of the main reasons) reason Cleveland doesn't follow us is because they know we aren't really one of the big boys. Hopefully our Athletic Dept can put a solid case together to show that the Cleveland market would support us if we were to join the Big East and be taken seriously in the Cleve. I personally think they would, if, that's a big if, we were to join the Big East AND win. They don't care if we win in the MAC...but I think they would if we won in the BE.

I think one could make a pretty compelling argument that baseball is in the best shape of any professional sport right now, but that has nothing to do with this.

You answered that yourself earlier, the economy. I certainly don't think CBB is in any trouble drawing the 5th most fans ever during crappy times. And the seating capacity all depends on the conference, imo. 7000-7500 for the MAC/CUSA...over 10k for the Big East.
