  1. In years past, our mental lapses would have caused us to lose to teams like NIU, EMU, BG, Toledo, etc...now they only cause teams to come close to us. We're okay, this team knows how to win.
  2. Man some of you guys are miserable. I'll take a 7-1 record 11 times out of 10.
  3. Hey if he can help us get out of the MAC, let's go!
  4. Yeah okay. Put Tyrone or Aliquippa against Central Catholic, Gateway, TJ, etc (this is just Pittsburgh btw) and see what happens. Some great players have come out of AA schools, but the best schools are AAAA for obvious reasons.
  5. Man, Can't State fan(s) must hate us lately. All this attention and winning must get annoying. Go Zips!
  6. Yeah but, like, he shouldn't be in the "rough" ...3700 yards, thirty some TD's. PA State co-player of the year. AAAA, not Single A. It's not like he's the Wyoming player of the year. Doesn't even have a Rivals page? Does he have SARS or something? I'm glad we got him, his videos look great, I just don't understand the lack of recruiting for him.
  7. I have a hard time believing the first team AAAA QB is walking on anywhere. Unless this kids got some issues.
  8. Right but, if they only count tickets sold, wouldn't the Can't State game have been 5,500 announced attendance?
  9. That's what happens when you use internet explorer..
  10. This I agree with. The odds of us actually doing it are way lower than our at-large odds. If we win out, we're in. Probably isn't gonna happen, but I guess the opportunity is there.
  11. ummm yeah it is. Here's a post from DiG on January 15th. "RPI is only one of many considerations for a team receiving an at-large invitation to the NCAA tournament. Below is the average percentage of teams from the 2006-2010 seasons for various ranges of RPI that received at-large invitations: RPI Range / % Teams Invited (2006-2010) 01-29 / 99% 30-39 / 80% 40-49 / 50% 50-59 / 37% 60-69 / 11%" When I said 80% and being in the 30's I swear to God I didn't read this first
  12. i'd say about 4k
  13. I'd say if we win out and lose the championship game, it's about a 80% chance...our RPI is already 59, and a win over ORU, one more over Can't State, OU, and Buffalo, along with a win over one of those in the conference semi's would most likely get us in the 30's of the RPI.
  14. lol don't feed the troll
  15. Have you ever heard of keith dambrot?
  16. Oral Roberts > Iona.
  17. Updated as of this minute. Interesting that our OOC RPI is 95. That means our RPI in conference has to be around 40 or better. Buffalo dropped I think 7 spots afetr beating NIU, which stinks that we still have to play them.
  18. I guess I have a different definition of happy. 6+ wins will make me happy. 3-5 I'll understand and in no means will be disappointed or calling for TB's head, but I can't say I'd ever be "happy" with a losing season.
  19. I think A-10, CAA, and MVC teams would be a great start, with a few big names, and a few tune ups as well. Also, I'm thinking GoZips will make his triumphant return to ZN in this thread to tell us how hard a job scheduling is and to go see Dan Peters if we'd like to help
  20. I'd like to schedule more teams like us, teams that have trouble getting games with big time programs, but still solid programs. CSU, VCU, some MVC or CAA teams... I realize vcu won't happen again with shaka, but programs at that level are ideal, imo.
  21. So this is what happens when we come out hot. We're really good.
  22. hate to burst their bubble, but Iona isn't really the name I'm hoping to draw. The only reason I knew who they were when I was little was because I thought they spelled Iowa wrong.
  23. Updated as of last night's games. Can't believe the MAC is still 16th with pretty much 4 top 100 teams. The West is brutal.
  24. Meh, I think his improved shot has led to defenders taking him more seriously around the arc, and leading to chances to drive past them. He's had a good amount of opportunities to take it to the rack, and missed a lot of what should be easy lay-ups. If he could put home those chances he's created, I doubt many people would be feeling the way they do right now.
  25. Didn't we draw VCU twice in a row?
