I respectfully disagree. It doesn't take a lot of talent to win in the MAC...It takes the right talent at the right places. OU isn't dripping with talent, yet they won 9 games so far this year. They have enough talent to win a coach that helps them win. Winters can get the right talent. I'm in this camp. The MAC stinks and a good coach can turn it around relatively quickly.

They're seeded higher. If we were seeded higher and didn't get a home game because someone draws more fans than us, we'd be angry as well. They should get the home game, they earned it and we didn't.

I don't think I've ever seen a fanbase that thinks there is such a rampant conspiracy against them.

They're dumb. I did a semester in Australia and they have them instead of 4 way stop signs. It's nice to never really stop but they're just annoying/confusing

So we finally get that big OOC win against a good team...and boom. Losses to stinkin Valpo and Duquesne. Good teams, but still. Disappointing.

It can get worse, and it can create a mess that even a great coach down the road wouldn't be able to come in here and clean up. I guess. We can win 1 or 0 games in a two year span instead of 2...If they can be 8 all conference guys, I don't care how bad they hate each other. How many all-conference players do we have now? At least they like each other right? Low-risk, high-reward, imo. Although I will say this- it's only a short term fix. Someone needs to figure out a way to sustain some success.

Cleveland State punched an over rated Vanderbilt in the mouth. To be fair, Vandy played without their All-American point guard. Still, an excellent win for CSU. Ball State nearly punched out Arizona having led most of the game. That would have given the MAC two road wins over SEC teams. BGSU struggled against SEC team Georgia and pulled close at the end. If BGSU and Ball State capture victories the MAC would have a great RPI. Darn, there's that old woulda, coulda, shoulda. Dream on Zips. Zona is in the PAC-12. Still would have been a nice win...better than the SEC.

JoePa did everything he was legally required to do. But as a man who preached the Penn State Way, always doing the honorable thing, and morality above all else...he failed. Legally he was right, but morally, way off. Tell someone Joe, this was bigger than a football program.This is the quote behind his statue outside Beaver Stadium...
