  1. 6'0" lineman Justin Adderley will be greyshirting this year, and will join the Zips in 2010 if he can become eligible. He's coming here from the Bahamas.
  2. Well, thanks for the info. It's a shame he couldn't make it after only three days. some people just get homesick, but to throw away a free education like that...
  3. And the Zips aren't even playing in it! Hoban-SVSM will be broadcast on STO the day before we get our own first TV home game against Indiana.AK-Rowdies, do your part and be so freaking loud at the Indiana soccer game that they hear us over the HS crowd and on TV! We'll rumble the Info from afar!
  4. Scout profileWe have offered him, regardless of what Scout says. He's rated a 4* by both scout and rivals. Do we have a chance at him? I had heard that Akron is going after him hard.
  5. http://www.gozips.com/ViewArticle.dbml?DB_...TCLID=204776347 IF YOU ARE PLANNING ON ATTENDING THE HOME OPENER, YOU MUST PICK UP A TICKET AT THE LOCATIONS LISTED ABOVE.
  6. About time they put this up.They sold 1,000 GA tickets on the first day and are up to almost 5,500 season tix.
  7. They just had an interview with D'Orazio on Fox 8. I think we'll be hearing great things about him throughout football season.
  8. One idea would be to upload it as a video on Youtube, along with a Zips slideshow or a (silent) video of highlights.
  9. http://www.cleveland.com/ohio-sports-blog/...ron_soccer.htmlCan't wait until Friday.
  10. Not really about campus, but an article on the 22 Exchange appartments
  11. AHA. Competition for the most worthless link of the month award. Way to go.What the??? I could access the article fine from Google. Here it is.MODERATOR EDIT: Copyrighted material removed. Readers should google "Crain's Infocision Stadium" and read the page on Crain's website while it's available.
  12. 5,300 season tix sold. New goal of 7,200.Cool to see the Infocision and Summa employees excited about the stadium.
  13. I think that the fans could be the ones to turn around the program. If the women's team gets even a quarter of the student support that the men's team gets, it might be enough to get in the opposing keeper's head and help teh Zips get some goals.
  14. At this point, I doubt it. I'm sure the new AD will find a way to get it done so he can put "stadium renovations" on his resumé, though.
  15. I take it this was your first time seeing it in person?I hope that when we have HS games and other events that draw non-Zips fans it generates half the excitement that you're showing here.
  16. Penn State LB Michael Mauti out with a torn ACL.Brandon Ware may be disciplined for leaking the info via Twitter, stay tuned.
  17. Corrosion Program opening next year. Also, our engineering program is undergoing a huge boom in students. No other program in the state comes close.
  18. Seeing players dissappear from the roster isn't a big deal, as long as it's not a high number or mostly projected impact players. It's even less of a deal when other players that weren't there on signing day show up on the roster to replace them.
  19. Now that I'm not on my work network, how do you get to vote for Akron? I can't get the thing to work at all.
  20. Reggie had 4 tackles against Da Bears, and I don't think that Brandon Anderson saw any playing time for the Browns.
  21. Here's the Beacon Journal story.Apparently there was a fight between Diamond Weaver and Nadir Brown. Stuff like this happens at schools all over the country pre-season, when teams don't have anybody to beat up but themselves. They're usually resolved once the season starts.Alex Allen's hip was acting up and he didn't participate, Dale Martin was out because of his achilles heel, Ryan Bain's back kept him out, and Dashan Miller has a bad toe so he was out as well.
  22. http://soccernet.espn.go.com/columns/story...a&root=ncaaI think 3rd is fair, but I would prefer 1st.
  23. I'd contribute right now, but I don't think they'd appreciate me accessing that website from here at work.Anyway, I think this is a cause that Zips fans can get behind. It's something we should really support.
  24. Thanks for the recap. I hope JD comes out with a depth chart soon. I also hope they tighten things up before Penn State.
  25. Watch the Bills (Reggie Corner) and Browns (Brandon Anderson) tonight. The Dolphins (Jason Taylor, Andy Alleman) and Giants (Domenik Hixon, Chase Blackburn) play Monday.I think that's everyone we have in the NFL. No word of any other Zips still being on an NFL Roster.
