Great win. I know Kwan has taken some flack on here and I know I have been hard in him but he had a good game. Had to sit a little with some questionable foul calls but he played well.

Wow, interesting tidbit is that they had pulled Steins scholarship last year when they brought in O'leary and tried to make him the kicker at the beginning of the season that didn't pan out.

They are giving away 750 "ugly" t-shirts sweaters. I wonder if the students will do the same thing as the hats at the football game and show up at 6, get the shirt and leave.

For our anniversary I sent my wife to Art Uncorked in Canton to make an Akron sign for the man cave in the basement. During the month they have different classes where you can make different signs like family name signs, holiday signs and Suckeye signs. I emailed them and asked if we could make a Zips and they said yes and to just sign up for the class for the Suckeyes sign and just note the team we wanted to make. They charge an extra $10 for not doing an OSWho sign but I felt it was still reasonable at $50 since we would probably pay that if we found a similar sign of that size out there. Not sure if it has been discussed before but after the game winner and many of the guys took off their shirts it looked like they were wearing a sort of "bra". After googling a little bit it actually looks like it keeps track of heart rate, recovery time and distance covered during the match, etc.

I convinced the wife and kids to go by saying that Saturday we would go to Silver Dollar City theme park Christmas in Branson. It's a little over 3 hours south of KC so thinking about staying in Clinton Missouri in between the two.

I am recruiting a few Latin's at work to come to the game and support their own Victor Souto. It sounds like I have at least 4 and possibly over 10. Let's try to get a huge crowd to see the Zips. I want to go to KC!

Really the game time won't be until 8:30 as the girls game tips at 6. Assume it takes 2 hours plus 30 minutes for warm up and it will be closer to 8:30.

Good thing this list wasn't something other MAC coaches could vote on to say he wasn't one of the 22 best players in the MAC let alone the top 11.

Sorry if it struck a nerve with you but those who have been around the program the past few years know what talented kids with an attitude can do to the team. I realize he is coming back from injury. I don't think he went out to stretch and he wasn't riding a bike when he came out. He was pissed after getting yanked after a not so great shot. I wasn't paying close enough attention to see if that sub was already after the scorers table or if it came after the shot. I am very high on this kid so don't get me wrong. I view him as a player similar to Diggs. Someone who is an athlete, plays good defense and can drive to the hoop which this team needs. I like the jumper and if he continues to work at it and be a 40% 3 ball shooter that is going to make it very dangerous. I expect him to be a 3 year starter and coming from someone who played ball and wasn't nearly as talented as him I just want to make sure he doesn't get too down at times during games/season as he will be key during the stretch run and the MAC tourney. Mark my words, he will have a huge game of 14+ points at the Q as we continue the trek to get back in the tourney! Go Zips!

Thats what I heard from jrship earlier this week.

I didn't like in the second half when a player took a bad shot and then was subbed out and he preceded to walk off the court and through the doors to the gym. He didn't come back until an assistant went to get him. When he was back on the bench he sat back with one leg stretched out not celebrating with the rest of the team as we proceeded to hit a couple of shots. He actually got put back in the game about 2 minutes later as I don't think KD knew he had left nor saw the attitude when he was back on the bench. I hope said player is able to turn the attitude around for the rest of the year.

After trying to bet some Can't fans a Chipotle burrito at work like we typically do in football and basketball season one wouldn't do it even though I was willing to give him some points. I was able to sucker another guy in by giving him 4.5 points.
